READ THE LOWER ONE!...THIS ONE DIDN'THAVE GOOD REVEIWS
NEW FS SYSTEM
I,like many people, am sick of the FS system.I mean c'mon they want it to be as close to the real SW universe as possible right?So what they're saying is that yoda got xp and went to Paemos 1 mil times before and gave 1313255134 xp for 35k xp.I have a way so that the hole thing will be oh i don't know,remotly fun!
1.actual training for jedi.Make corosaunt an available planet to go to(good even if u don't wanna be a jedi), go to the Jedi Councile building and learn how to be a jedi.u know do the tests,slowly gain ur powers,build a saber, u know,the stuff
2.actual training for dark jedi.Make Koribban an available planet to go to(once again good even if ya don't wanna be a dark jedi),and go to the sith academy and do the stuff u'd have to with the jedi training.
3.TEF sensitivity.Make it less sensitive.i mean so guy didn't say "oh look he's wearing a jedi robe,LET'S KILL EM!"about Obi-Wan in ep 2.Heck he didn't even get attacked,Padme did...then Anakin but that was for a different reason.
.4.Jedi Village.Make it only nessesary if u don't wanna do the corosaunt way or the Koribann way.It only is there so u can enhance ur abilities and.
5.second part of jedi training.After u finish at the academies(1 or the other) u r givin a jedi master NPC which will help u with ur jedi tasks til u become a jedi knight, just like in the movies...well w/o the part of them telling u what to do.
6. NO ARMOR problem.Make it so that jedi can wear armor,i mean it's stupid the can't wear armor,some of us need our armor!
7.GCW requirements.Get rid of needing to kill the imps(jedi) or the rebs(dark jedi) thing.that's stupid!some of us don't wanna get involved with the GCW.i'm not saying everyone but some people don't wanna deal with it!
8.Phases.4 words:GET RID OF THEM!

I see many of the points that you bring to the table, but jedi is not supposed to be easy, and its not supposed to be great fun. I agree they should find a better way to do this, but this petition will not change n e thing. Chances are the devs will never even here about it, even if they do, they wont care. Personally the system right know is good, but lacking. The armor thing, Jedi used to be able to were armor, but they nerfed that because they are extremely strong as it is, why should they make them harder to kill. (Im just saying things from a different perspective, i want armor too lol)

Never going to happen no matter how many signitures you are going to get.
Besides, Jedi should not wear armor, if you don't like it tough. Jedi never wore armor in the movies. Darth Vader is a special case.

first of all, this is way to easy of a way to becoming jedi...the jedi population is already bad as it is..and by doing this...people will stay up for 4 or 5 days, play non-stop...and get LJK or DJK..sorry but i do not agree with this idea...even tho it will prob. never happen

I'm not a board regular... but seeings how I'm doing the village at the moment I felt like getting active. You have some good points Denerik, but they can all be defunked pretty easily.

After you complete the padawan trials you do get your own personal trainer. The idea of Corsacant being a 'training ground' for Rebel Jedi is pretty ridiculous though as Corsacant is an Imperial controled world.

Ok... I agree to a point. Korriban would rule, but once again each Jedi gets a personal trainer.

Your trying to base prequel data on a sequel game... and Padme isn't Force Sensative, she's a polatician.

The village was created to weed out Jedi hopefuls... If you can't take the FS grind, your not Jedi material.

More prequel data for the most part. Luke is apprenticed to Kenobi and Yoda for a very short time and stumbles his way through most of his training. Did I mention that at Padawan (or possibly Iniciate) you get a personal trainer (Jedi Master)?

I've never seen a movie or extended universe Jedi wear traditional armor. I'm sure it would mess with your control of the force anyway.

This game is based on the GCW and to not have it revolve around the Force Ranking System would be silly.

The Four Phase system is used to introduce new Jedi into the galaxy at an even flow... otherwise over population would become an even bigger problem than it already is.
Just my two cents =) Your proposal looks good, but it has no chance of succeding.

Your trying to base prequel data on a sequel game... and Padme isn't Force Sensative, she's a polatician.

sry i must've left details out.it'd be like a theme park but it was WAY harder than a normal one and WAY longer then a normal one.Jedi SHOULD be easy because this is a game.and with the planets i knew i was kinda gettin crazy,it was just an idea

From hearing ur posts about my petition i've desided to leave it at 2 things
1.shorter phases(i am sry but 3 weeks is rediculous)
2.once u get all 6 branches full u get a jedi master NPC(that way u can have some help with the padawan trials and have a cool buddy u can scare people with:biggrin)

I dont think your ideas are worthy of a 1 star rating as some seem to think. Your post was at least well thought out. I to grow weary of this system, however i found that SOE has a very hard time grasping the concept of a story, especially one that would have to flow like a tabletop system. I am still waiting for the monthly story quests. For a while we had Cries of Alderan, now the only story lines we get are the imperial messeges that are interupted by rebel transmissions we see on the loading screen. This i feel is very sad.

Jedi should be easy because this is a game?
If you want a Jedi so bad go play the Jedi Outcast or Academy games.

I think it's a moot point whether getting Jedi should be "easy" or not. I agree with Deneric that the current system is ridiculous. The problem is simple: SOE is unable/unwilling to add enough content and variety to keep up with the burgeoning jedi population, so they have resorted to making it long and boring and tedious to become Jedi, in hopes of discouraging as many people as possible. And what kind of mood do you think most Jedi are in when they finally make it? And how can their expecations that have been building up that long possibly be met, especially by a team of incompetent developers who implement the laziest and least originalsolution to every problem? No wonder people think there are "too many Jedi." They have no content in the game to enjoy, so they have resorted to showing off and going aroundtelling other people to "just get over it"in the hopes that it will justify their owndrawn-out grind. No, there are not too many Jedi. There is just no interesting content for them in the game to keep them busy and away fromrolling eyes.
Jedi should not be about proving that you can "stick it out" throwing grenades at the same poor animals for months on end. It should be about STAR WARS. It's so sad that you get more experience for killing a baz nitch than a Sith Thug. Does that make any sense to any of you? Oh well.

I doubt this will ever happen. The ammount of exp u have to get is supposedly the equvilant of the amount of exp for 32 proffs like when holos were in use. So either keep trying to make petitions like this, use grenades , Or grind it out the slow way.
, Or grind it out the slow way.by the way do you have any idea how incredibly laggy Coruscant would be lol? Although it would be really cool.

in my mind they should consider making 4 different villages. use me as an example!
after 4 months of casual gaming i have made the FS stage. i go to the village not knowing what ot expect and get killed. i clone in SO and get fully buffed and travel all the way back again only to kill 1 shadow guy and die again from mind incap. i had done 2 brandy's and a canape as well. SO why is it so hard for a noob FS to enter the village during phase 4?? in reality it shoudln't be. should it? i mean did you have to worry about 13k ham chubas or nunas why you went to get trained in your combat profession? did you have to worry about 20-30 of these brutes pking you while you tried to explore a city you never been to before? i think not, so why should it be that way for me and others like me? so having 4 different villages would relieve this problem so i and anyone else could do our novice grinding without all the BS of phase 4 sith everywhere. so u do a quest or two and move on to the next village to continue on training, gradually getting harder as you grow. its bad enough it takes so much xp with the conversion ratio's but its a big let down when u have to wait till the phase is over to start where you should in the first place. i have done 70% of my xp/skills by myself with very limited help. let alone it is hard to find enough ppl who what to group during my hour/hours of play time. are there regular groups of ppl teaming together here in the village or is it bring your own group and hope you live? do any jedi help us noob FS?
the only alternative i could guess on is giving out a power or two with your starter glow-rod? make it more like KOTOR than SWG that way, but at least you had a chance to live while you learned and gained levels. here it is oh you spent so many months to get here, now wait some more, and well while your at it be delayed longer by the grind itself. shoot, am i paying to be punished or paying to play something cool?
