Thread: To all those complaining about there being too many jedi.

1: I don't see it. I very rarely see jedi at the mo and while i do see jedi everyday its because they are in my guild.

2: If you are a jedi then you really have no business complaining about the number of jedi because you could always delete your character if you think there are too many.

3: To all the rest who think there are too many jedi. So? Are they hurting you? Does it take away from your enjoyment of the game? And if so, learn to loosen up. IMO, anyone who pays for an account has the right to play anyway they want as long as they are willing to put in the work involved. I have no business complaining about the number of jedi because I myself am on the way to becoming one.

So in closing, even though I know this plea will fall on deaf ears; stop trying to rain on everybodies parade. You don't see us complaining about there being too many doctors or tk's or bounty hunters.

You are right on the money$$ lol. I totally agree with you, people need to loosen up and understand that Jedi isn't just for "a few" people.

every1 has a right to be a Jedi...lets jus gratz the one who made it there and give the ones who are trying to become on a lil push in the back..i meen jeez being Jedi is the "special" thing in this game so lets not make it harder but just keep it the way it is...hard enough

Well said, I coudn't agree with your more...

I think most of the people complaining of too many jedi,ARE the jedi. I'm really tired of seeing the "There is too many jedi" post, it's always good to see a thread like this.

The main reason current Jedi are complaining about an overabundance of other Jedi is because they want to keep that feeling of superiority. As released by the SWG devs... Jedi is equal to that of 1.5x any other "normal" or elite profession. It's all about greed and feeling on top.

Aside from that I also see many "true" Starwars fans complaining about the timeline of the story and how there were not many Jedi during the period of which the game is supposed to exist.

But I say whatever to all of that... it's called equal opportunity.

You know, I had a beef along time ago with all the Jedis running around, being a "pureists" and all. But then I came to a realization, this is a game.

/agree

Supreme Chancellor: Remember back to your early teachings. "All who gain power are afraid to lose it." Even the Jedi.
Anakin Skywalker: The Jedi use their power for good.
Supreme Chancellor: Good is a point of view, Anakin. The Sith and the Jedi are similar in almost every way, including their quest for greater power.
Anakin Skywalker: The Sith rely on their passion for their strength. They think inward, only about themselves.
Supreme Chancellor: And the Jedi don't?
Anakin Skywalker: The Jedi are selfless... they only care about others.
Supreme Chancellor: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis "the wise"?
Anakin Skywalker: No.
Supreme Chancellor: I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying.
Anakin Skywalker: He could actually save people from death?
Supreme Chancellor: The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
Anakin Skywalker: What happened to him?
Supreme Chancellor: He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.
Anakin Skywalker: Is it possible to learn this power?
Supreme Chancellor: Not from a Jedi.
