check the forums, theres a wealth of information here if you learn how to sift throughit. you can find exactly what it takes, by looking at the posts on this very board.

You will need 4 holocrons to do this you can buy them for about 600k total or cheaper as of right now. They are changing the system thought in about a month to 2 months so don't be surprised if you have to start a new system soon enough.
You would be best off to wait until the new quest based system starts instead of mastering your holocron professions. Get some money together and build yourself up a nice template for what you want to do.

being a jedi is lonelier than unlockingyour force sensitive character slot.however as you will find out as you read, starting the current way to become a jedi might be a wasted effort as they are changing the system soon.

At least that guy was nice, I am amazed no one has burnt a statue in your effigy, covered it in pig's blood, and sacrificed their first born son to the war god, in the hope he might take some superficial notice, and strike you down where you sit.
That's how things work in the jedi forums at least.
PS. Master 5 random professions, holocrons will tell you 4, it all changes in a couple months, so good luck!

Do what I did, play the game for entertainment and get as much experience from the other players (interaction) and game content as you can.
It just so happens that I had curiosities about several professions, and after mastering many of them it unlocked for me.
On the flip side, Ihad more friends than I can count quit the game entirely after they burned out from doing repetitive profession grinding while trying to unlock their FSCS. I hate to see people doing this to themselves, and hope the new quest based system (while rigorous and challenging) fixes the burnout issue.
Welcome to SWG, and good luck to you!

with this attitude I doubt you will ever be a jedi...
I will tell you this. You can look on the boards and find out how to become a jedi. About the time you figure it out and realize it is going to take months to do you will have aproximately 2 weeks to do it before they change the system (it is in the works right now). I would recomend you go out and have some fun with the game, the jedi grind will ruin you for the game if you start it now.
Soon there will be a new system that nobody will understand and know and they everyone will be in the same boat.

Nice one. If you're looking for an easy path, don't even bother with Jedi. ![]()
