- For those who have gone through and gotten partway through the Force Sensitive Village (FSV), how will their re-spec points be allocated?
The FS village has been removed and Jedi have been included as an iconic profession, so progress in the FS village will not have an impact on the re-spec.
I got this from one of tiggs posts. It specifically says that it will not have an impact on the respec and they have said elsewhere that there is no specific reward for those in the middle of the specific grind. The problem is that there is nothing to convert the FS experience into. We will be respected into the level 80 characters already and won't really have a need for it. I know this doesn't answer your question exactly as you asked it, but I am comfortable saying that it will all be for naught.
How Can they say that"ALL" jedi have done more work than us, i see jedi with just 3-4 professions mastered or less and being jedi, they obviously blasted through those to get jedi unlocked.
So 3-4 profs, the village, then jedi does notequal the 22 proffessions and all the village apart from unlocking the phase IV quest which i have xp for but can never do as it wont shift untill the NGE goes live.

you can cap multiple weapons, some of which you dont even need the prof they were meant for to grab 200k out of...
I did it pre-cu with TKM and master swordsman, thats just 2 900k caps with (and ill give it to you here this is worse) 100k FS after combat, but thats still only 160k per trip, and it took an hour to cap, so every three trips i had to wait in line and spend more credits to get buffed, this could take 20-25 minutes as evidenced by the mind buffs, and if you didn't spend millions on the right food then you were SOL grinding wise...

I agree witht he above poster. Alot of pre CU jedi's dont have 5 master badges, this is hurting us players who play the game and not 24/7 grind.
We have about 20 players in the same boat as Depi in our city.
Change i can deal with. Being treated like this regarding the xp i have earnt and months of my time wasted i cant.
My city/guild will stay together but may not be on swg so they are in danger of losing around 60 accounts from my city alone over this.
We all love this game but will not be treated like this and most feel the new game will be too much like a console game but we will all give it a chance baring the force xp issue.

From what I gather reading all the posts and FAQs Jedi will be just another prof and if u are cl 80 now you can respec into a cl 80 jedi.

Wel we all need to take a deep breath. There seems to be a contradiction and that leads to uncertainty and is why the FS folks are very very nervous. Everyone keeps sayingJedi is a starting professon, yet I see force sensative not Jedi. Jedi is a specific class and is a specific word yet it is strangly missing from the chracter creation class. The folks that are FS see this and are wondering will I have to go thru another type of unlocking system after they have completed X amount in the previous one?
I will state that I have not seen the new creation process or tested this new CU and will make a guess. Jedi is not a starting profession Force Sensative is and to get to be a Jedi, will require and end class quest to finish your final ten levels to become a full fleged Jedi. This would make sense that what we see are the base classes and there will be an elite advancement from CL 80 to CL 90 which has popped up in several places.
Like all things alot of the FS folks have hunkered down put in a significant investment to persue Jedi and the rules changed mid stream, like anyone who has done some of the work they want it to be recognized and rewarded. How many out there would want to be apart of anything put in the 400+ hours to get it done only to have someone tell you were not doing it that way and your not going to get paid or rewarded for your efforts. Finally ,it's about oppertunity and haveing something just sprung on them, it seems many have unlocked and were taking their time to grind, might be good customer relations to give them and some of the other's who have put in the effort a chance to finish. In the end all anyone asks for is a chance.
