Hi,

Am I doing something wrong? I have read just about everything in these forums including all the stickies on the subject. I am a glowy and stay on Dant. walking to my missions as much as possible.

Is there something that you can do to prevent him from being triggered other than being in an NPC town? Over, Special forces, wearing armor, killing a certian NPC, ect...anything that I could be doing wrong? All ideas welcome

You shouldnt be in an npc city you have to travel and wait inside player cities dude

I kind of mis-comunicated that item....

I am not in a NPC town...that is the one item I knew not to do .

So I don't have to stay on Dant....interesting....I will have to try a new planet. As I keep finding the old man walking around the same spot in Dant. Maybe he is bugged there.

something to try . . .

1) fly to a starter planet . . . like Tat

2) shuttle to a player city

3) run (no vehicle or mount) about 1K from said city

4) wait

if this doesn't work . . .file a ticket

go do missions on foot.

if u are on ur bike and he spawns, u miss him.

ive run in to 3 old men out in the wild since ive been back... none talked to me so im assuming the tards he was meant for just kept driving

The old man took 2 days to show up and I did alot of out of city grinds durring that time. I just kept playing the game and assumed he would show when he showed. I took a bounty mission that lead me to Lok last night. After I took my mark I turned around and almost walked into him. He just appreared behind me. Kinda spooky and lots of fun. I was about 6K outside Nym's Stronghold when it happened.

Thanks again all! You deffinately making me feel much better....I have some friends who are FS and Padawan's so we are just out grinding exp for them and me so we can transfer it to FS blocks.

You should shuttle from player city to city wait for 5 minutes and if he doesnt come then go to a different one.

Thanks a Ton all....I logged on tonight and within 15 minutes the Old Man ran right up to me and starting talking! Woot
