Thread: Question About Second Character Slot

It was stated that when we get to padawan we get a second character slot, does anyone recall reading whether the slot already has the inner glow? Or do you need to get the badges for that slot too?

It unlocks when you complete the Padawan Trials. Glowy->Entry Quest with oldman &sith->6 branches->Exit Quest with oldman and Mel->16 Padawan Trials->Jedi Padawan and second slot.

Another question:
When you have your 2nd char slot, I don't suppose you can play both characters on the same galaxy at the same time. If you can, do you have to have 2 licenses?

you can if you set up the game correctly.. ive seen it been done. unsure how exactly.

my problem with that is ... what if I don't want to be a jedi? why can't i have my second slot too?

just like the old system... u grind out 20 or more proffesions to get ur jedi slot
u either work for it or buy another account

If you don't want a jedi then don't use the FS system, buy another account. This is not the "have a second slot" system, it's the jedi system.
As for playing both at the same time, to my knowledge you cannot do this as they are on the same account.

How does it exactly unlock? Once you reach all the force sensitive branches Im thinking?

supposedly after you unlock and fully train in 6 branches. its what i have been told anyway. i only have 5 branches trained so far so cant say if its correct but thats the word i have collected.

I spend my timeco-running a roleplaying town (done so for 8 months) creating and running storylines and sorting out community members problems and running an in game magazine to enhance the gameplay/roleplay of others. I'll quite happily work to get a second character slot ... but I don't think I should be forced to be a jedi toget it.

Is it not possible to 'unlock' Padawan & your second slot but not actually train any skills and just remain a force sensetive tailor or whatever?
