I was just wondering if anyone who's mastered fencer has any tips for grinding?

buy yourself some fishak, and ryshkate

go to town at the tuskans till you hit 4 boxes of footwork, then head to dath, and do giant baz nitch missions. you should be ok with that since they come 2 at a time, bleed both, and work on the other, wear a good kinetic helmet and decent armor always helps but not needed. smack em around with a good gaffi stick or stun baton, no specials needed =) at least thats what i did

...use this macro in a static NPC ground and you'll be fighting unlimited until you die and clone.

i'm in the process of grinding it myself, what i did was just fight huurton huntresses

group with a pet (for the exp bonus) that will get you about 4200-4400 exp per huurton huntress either wear good kinetic armor or get buffed this is how i'm doing it anyhow, i'm a little bit of a slow grinder but in the last week i went from 1/1/0/1 to 1/4/4/3 in about 4 days

i used the stun baton by the way

do you have any skill?

the answer is no. no armor will "let" you solo anything. though 72%will help you a whole heck of a lot. you still have to be smart when they're swarming you.

typically, that type of armor will make you very hard to kill unless you kill yourself. my guess is that you'd be fine.

ok flames may insue from this thread due to the hate towards people whom like things done fast.

I did Grind out fencer. Didn't work on it full time around the clock. If i had i may have been able to do it in two-three days. it really took me three weeks, however i did other things in game. But when it came to the grindI could get 2-4 blocks a day, and i still messed around a bit those days.

What you'll need:

Credits (lol grinding costs money)

70% or better kinetic armor. (get all those emcum slices)

Doctor buffs (helps to know a few docs always buffing)

A speeder

Fishtak Surprise (mind buff from chef...Crates)

Munon Gold (crates)

i used the baton sliced for speed at the beginning on the grind...sliced for damage towards the end.

I also used heath 32% and 16 max dam powerups.

Oh yeah and a pet!

Ok head to Dantoonie. and post outside a regular mission terminal. Player cities are the best for this less lag and for some reason the missions seem to come in a bit closer. Call your pet out but do not group him. get the hurtoon huntess missions. they will be 7300 credit missions. getthem in the same direction and group your pet...Tell it to STAY! it will only slow you down. the purpose of the group is get you about a thousand xp extra per kill. Take off on your speeder. as you approach your mission get off bike pop the munon gold and tear up the hurtoons. They'll go down pretty quick with little damage to you with your buffs and armor. avg about 30,000 xp per lair. Now between quest take off your armor and let your mind recharge. Should you fail to do both in ten minutes pop that fishtake surprise to give the edge of mind to finish the second mission. Get back on the bike and head back over to terminal ungroup the pet and take two more missions repeat.

On a good flow of this method you can avg 60,000 xp every 15-20 mins. This method can be used for other melee prof too i'd imagine.

about three hours later when your buffs wear off. run back to your doc and get buffed get to a cantina and shed all the bf you accumulated. If your lucky you can get a good mind while your there too.

I'm not sure if this info was anywhere else. not sure if I'll be hated for doing it or telling it. The Grind is the grind. I love fencer, but wanted to master quickly. Yes it was a holo profession but one I feel in love with. I'm having a hard time imagining giving it up right now. (and since my holo is silent I am keeping it awile to do alot of content in game I could never handle alone before)

BTW I went to the "Jedi caves" after mastery buffed and drugged up to see how I faired solo. me 5 them 1. Fencer is awesome!

Actually I say yes to the armor and soloing without buffs just don't specials....lol you'll kill yourself. But without buffs and just good kinetic I've taken on 4 huntress solo. Let me auto comat and slipping in one heal or two. Its slow. And you'll need to recharge your mind and you'll have a ton of bf but you should live.
