Hello,
I have a Master Doc and looking to pick up Fencer as her combat skills, I will only PvE with her and just want to know what you Fencers Like and Dislike about the profession, in addition this is not my only character and not wanting to duplicate any of his skills TMS/Swordsman, and just wanting to know what people find Fun and Un-Fun about Fencers in PvE
Thanks in advance.

Fencer/doc is a great combo, but I'm not sure I can recommend it for PVE. I would recommend 2H swordsmen/doc as the folks above said. Fencer has the lowest damage of the melee professions and in return is given great, even exceptional, defenses. These defenses make fencers exceptional, especially with a decent ackaly stun baton, in PVP. In PVE however, due to funky code in this game, many high-level MOBs are given extremely, I mean massive, accuracy modifiers that make them near impossible to miss even us fencers. What this does is make it so that what should be the ultimate tanking melee profession is actually equal in defenses to every other melee profession when it comes to high-MOB tanking, but with much less offense. So, I personally do not like fencer as a PVE profession. My $.02

I am a Master Fencer / Novice Doc and I think it's great in PVE. I've just started the Doc tree but being able to remove intimidate from yourself helps a lot. I don't worry much about the other states in PVE but that half damage state has to be removed on big spawns. I may not be able to take GDKs down as fast as a Master Swords butI do kill them. Once Imove up the doc tree a bit more and can cure desease, a GDK battle wouldleave me untouched (cept BF or course) at the end.
Now the highest mobs seem to cut through my defences, as mentioned above, but that's what good armour and good stims are for. I don't worry in the least when something hits me and my HA bars plumet. A stim D or E heals for over 1k and fit nicely in a large pack of 48 in one taskbar.
Go for it, you won't be disapointed.....well at least until you go up against a NS elder....then you might have wished you could do more then kin and stun damage.

It depends, if you want to kill stuff, Doc and 2HS would be better.
However, if your the type of Doc who likes being errrr a Doc, meaning healing people, removing disease, taking care of your group, Fencer is a great profession.
You will be tough to kill. Not getting hit much yourself, means you can focus on others.
