Thread: Which Branch First?
I am working on stances and grips, while a fellow fencer is going the Technique route. We plan on training each other along the way...
Well, I just got Footwork and working on my next box, but I'm wondering whether the game is designed for completing rows on the skill tree first or columns. For the XP cost of a fourth level box (450,000), you could get two first level boxes (175,000 each) and have some to spare, plus you'd have more combat options (moves).
I suppose this is really player preference, but I'd like to hear some feedback.
Thats player preferance, either way you are going to gain the same amount of levels in the same amount of time. Personally I'd rather have a high level attack while tryign to aquire the lower tier skills =)
Also, I definatly think Footwork is the best first skill to get. You get a +20 to speed on the 2nd skill. And Spinattack2 on the third. My definate first choice.
Awesome, didn't realize 1handwound did bleeding.
Just says "WOUND" .. guess I have to take Obi-won's statement to heart" .. In a different point of view"

ill work on foot work
Footwork, definatly footwork.
The fencer profession is based upon speed. The only tree that grants more speed is footwork. All the other moves just drain the mind pool for powerfull but less effective attacks. We are not a class built apon power, thats why are weapons are so low on the max damage. And with a nice Health Hit 1 you can make your opponent continue bleeding even after you are incaped/slain.(dirty trick but very effective)![]()
