Ok, here is the deal with CHs and Melee, if you get too close, itll attack you. I stay on the right flank of my sludge around its hind legs, and I rarely take a hit. However, if you do, learn to avoid it, it takes some time, patience, and brains. But for me, footwork is great for taking down large creatures while soloing, and the +20 Speed bonus really helps me Beserk, since Im not getting attacked, its a win/win situation
