Thread: Bleed? You have to be kidding!!

Bleed does 33% damage three times over a minute??


Is that right? Is that advanced bleed or the basic?

33% of what stat?


advanced bleed for me is always like 60 or less tick

33% of your max damage stat ticks once every 19 seconds 3 times for a total of 57 seconds. This is against an NPC with no armor, if they do have armor it reduces the bleed even more. This is our number one issue.

bleed is ment not to be uber....or everyone is going to be fencer like everyone was pikeman.

No one wants it "uber" (I hate that damn word!), we just want it to work better than it should now. Have it tick faster...or make it do high damage, and have it tick slow. Some kind of indication that it's working--or appears to be working.

Hehe trust me I do not want Fencer to become a FOTM because of the bleed. I would just like us to be able to fullfill our role that we were given with the CU =).

Well, as far as melee goes, we are fotm now. Watch, if they make bleed better, you'll see more fencers regardless. I still agree the bleeds need something much more substantial as far as use.

Well Patch #17 goes in effect today, and nothing on Fencers Bleeds or animations. Novthing at all on Fencers. What happened? We are are the low end of priorities?

Dont forget that Commando's , Squad Leader's , Ranger's , Smuggler's etc etc have been crying out for attention for a ridiculos amount of time

yeah but we are looking for like 3 special tweaks not revamps

I know you guys want information on this, I do too. I posted our issues in the Correspondent forum and have been bumping it to make sure the right people see it. But sadly so is everyone else in that forum since everyone needs some love. Trust me when I get the first bit of information I will be here posting it for you.

I must admit Bleeds are currently worthless to the point of no reason to bother using them.Which is really surprising since DoT's are supposed to be the function whe bring to the table according to the CU documentation. They could literally be doubled in damage and duration of ticks and still be worthless compared to say a DoT from say a combat medic.


Seeing as we lost our function as avoidance champions to be DoT specialists, this ability needs to be perked up substantially.
