cool.. i guess

not flaming, but I dont see how this is helping... this should be posted in the Doctor profession forum... any brawler class could do that. looks like a pompous attempt...

A pompus attempt at what..? and do TKA have aoe, no..Can Pikemen hit the broad side of a barn door, no.Cana heavy swordsmen, certainly.

I didnt post this for you, I know you dont care and alreay know your limitations as a fencer. This is incentive for players that are concerned with how wimpy fencers are when first starting out. They dont realize a fencer shines when they are close to master.

But just so you know, Ive had two people from this community start chars on my server just to ask my advice today. I spent an hour talking to a guy tonight about my thoughts on a template and what weapons are most usefull..

The fact of the matter is, not all brawler elite are equal in every situation, I just feal that fencers are the most well rounded of them all..Im not even a master just yet and ive beaten tkm's, and one was a MCH who died with his pet Archaine...And in the same note I had my ass handed to me by a master heavy swordsmen 2 out of 3 times..

It all boils down to support proffesions, maybe I should try fencer without doc buffs, maybe your right and this realy isnt an uber proffesion and I should join the zillion other tka...

Just FYI, TKA have 2 AoE attacks. Spin Attack 1 and 2.

Just out of curiosity, why fight slinking vorator hunters with a gaffi stick? I believe thos MoBs have medium armor and 25% kinetic resists with a vulnerability to stun, seems like a job for the stun baton.

he probably used a gaffi for the bleeds and carried on as not 2 kill himself in mind before he did 0,1 damage in attacks

That sounds a lot like what I do to solo on Dantooine/Endor/Lok, Guddy. I use my 2 pistoleer bleeds from a distance, then tap the 2 one hand bleedswhen they get into range. Course, being a smuggler, I then fake a dirt nap, wait for em to get down to 1 hp, then stand up, /peace and get in range just enough to agro the one I was fighting, while any others will remain near the lair/spawn location. This tactic works wonders, especially seeing that I only really wear 45% Ubese, and I don'thave access tomedic skills or pets

Xendi, its great you are so into this class you love to share your tales etc. Just remember though, the posibilities for sucess in this game are far more varied and original than in many other MMORPGs. As a bartender friend of mine loves to say: Its not what you put into the drink that makes it great, its knowing when to shake or stir Keep pushing the limits bro, its the basisfrom which great discoveries are made.

Kudos and Forever RAR!

Nice pics, Xendi. I've looked through the various forums at your posts and this seems like something you really enjoy (taking and posting pics of your activities). In general, I like the pics you post... they are usually filled with some pretty intense situations, and can boost the confidence of a fledging of the specific profession that be having doubts about his/her choice of professions. Had your first pics on the Fencer forum simply had a different title they would have most likely been a big hit, and most of uswould be looking forward to the next one. "What's that crazy nut going to do next?" It wasn't a bad title, just bad timing. But all that garbage is behind us now, and we can move on.

I, for one, look forward to more of your pictures and posts.

Oh, I was curious if you have looked into alternate compression solutions to get a little better picture resolution. (?)

The image is 700k, so i'd say it's hardly compressed at all. what makes part of it unreadable is probably that the gamma settings were cranked up really high, and graphics detail might be low. Plus, the system messages are always hard to read on a white sky, and i'm not too nuts about the default blue UI palette anyway.

Now, Xendi, if i'm not mistaken, the slinking voritors are AR2 to kinetic, so why aren't you using a butterknife instead of a gaffi? As Raphayl has shown in impressively nerdy ways, it's the go-to weapon against armored foes.

(I think it's the horned voritors that are stun vulnerable)

Yes Gamma is cranked so its daylight 24/7 and yes the graphics are set low, Im using a Radeon 7500 atm and it sucks for ths game coupled with a wimpy 1.3 celeron..I have a GeForce FX 5200 but its pci and isnt compatible with celeron so city performance doesnt warrant using it..

I use the Gaderiffi baton on almost everything I fight if it isnt vunerable to stun, and Voritor hunters arent..+ if you do the math, a VB might have AR1 but still does less dmg than my 294 max dmg Gaderiffi.

And Fencers arent Conan the barbarian, more like Robin Hood keeping our opponent at bay and staying allive with quick movements andstatus attacks.

hehe Xendi i got one for ya.

Take a picket lair, the diff 32 ones worth 9k.

With buffs/ then pop a muon gold hit the lair once.

Let about 5-6 of them start attacking and snap a pick of that, i made about 450xp fencer doing those in an hour. Just cob, blind/bleed stack each one, cob, spamm dizzyhit2/spinattack2 then finish em off with body hit three, never even have to use a heal, and if your grouped with a mount 4k exp per kill is pretty nice, avereging about 40-50k xp per lair. Easy too.
