Im thinking of something like pistoleer/fencer/smuggler....

fencer pistoleer wil not give u dodge 200.. the bonuses on defences will depends on the gun/weapon u wear on..all other bonuses will stack.. so now will me master aganst master.. hybrid proffesion is not a real choise anymore imho...beiside the melee/range defences the rest will no cound u will have either dodge either evades.. not boths on same time..


Personaly i think pvp will go arround best master proffesion combination..

Sipu you couldnt be more wrong, how about you actually PvP before you spout off on somebodies template. Dodge bonuses DO stack as long as you are using a Dodge appropriate weapon (Fencing Weapon or Pistol). This has not changed Live or on Test Center. The Developers have not even decided if this needs addressing, nerfing or balancing and any changes are at least one publish away if not more.


Answer, yes this is a good PvP template that can compete with the other popular PvP templates.

master tk/fencer/brawler is pretty cool



master fencer-4030 doc- 0040 pistoleer...uhhhh its an ok template till i get master droid engineer/architect..

hehe tk/fencer/brawler is VERY fun, just a very nice combination between offense and defense.
since I got that, I've never beed KD anymore, and that's a huge point in PvP

brawler allows you to KD from 20m away (good against ranged peeps, burst run and lunge 2 either with VKs or Gaffi)
but actually... hmmm, I'd like to say that my defenses are more efficient (just abit, without COB) when fighting as TKM.

but I'm always switching between heavy swords/gaffi/VKs during fights to bleed and use the best state attacks.

Doctor+Ranged, Doctor/TKA, Carbineer/Swordsman, CombatMedic/Rifleman, BH/Pistol, BH/Carbineer....

Im currently a master rifleman/master fencer/4004 tka... lots of melee and ranged def.. about 180 in both b4 mods.


Its nice..i can get in to hand to hand with my stun baton or if they wanna run i just stand back and peg em with my t21...hehe..the funniest thing is..the further they run away ... up to 64m....the more accurate i get with the rifle..hehe



Very few attacks hit me..i have yet to have a Flame DOT from a commando stick...they need to actuallly hit for that to happen...


And TKA's pocket doc is great for any class

you could try the one that i had if you wanna snipe. master rifleman, tk 4004, fencer 4300, pistoleer 0004, marksman 4400, and medic 0000. This gives you 206 melee defense, and 188 ranged. Couple this with all the power of rifleman, you can be unbeatable in open areas. Don't try to duel a tk at the Imp outpost on Dant though. It's too small to move around enough. It's great for theed though, cause the only people that can hit are tks and other riflemen. If you do go this route you'll be unstoppable in pve, but in pvp you'll have to play it smart, and beware of the combat medic.

My current template is as my profile.


I'm thinking of dropping master fencer and 1 box and adding in Novice Doctor for Heal State. Anyone else done that and how does that work for combat purposes?
