Well.....TKA has more "tanking" defenses, and we hit harder.
Fencer has better dodge defenses, more damage types, hits *i think* just as fast if not as hard, but their different damage types help to negate this.
Also, fencer is able to target a specific pool better than tka (tka gets 3 pool specific attacks, but all cost 3 times the amount of ham as a uah1 with half of thedamage). I would rather hit a random pool faster and harder with much less ham cost, then hit a specific pool.

Yeah master fencers can take out a tka, the only problem is you gotta work 2-3 times harder. Due to our poor list an choices of weapons that acutly do work. Stun baton an gaffi sticks are the only weapons that do real damage for us in pvp or duels. The other weapons we got tend to be awesome for pve thats about it. An if your lucky enough to have an alk gaffi, well its incredibly easy for you to spam specials the special costs for those weapons are pretty darn low. So it makes it slightly easier for you to acutly kill an tka. But unfortantly the uber alk bones were nerfed cuase sony didn't want thier precious tka's slaughtered. ^-^
Fencer's One-Handed-Hit 3 with a nice gaffi is just about as powerful as a TKM doing unarmed hit 3 with a nice VK. Fencers need to master brawler for a knockdown, but it also has a 20m range which is nice.
Fencer defense is MUCH higher than a TKM. Defensive accuity doesn't seem to work at all, fencer dodge works extremely well. Both have problems with non-specific pools to target. Fencers get screwed a bit harder though... against a buffed opponent in good armor, a fencer will never outdamage novice medic healing skills. Scatter hit is good against an opponent with no armor, but again vs a heavily armored target it's totally inadequate.
Basically I had much better defense as a fencer template, but so far I'm more thrilled with my offensive capability as a TKM.
i am a master in both and i have master brawler to. i win against a tkm all the time!!!
the way it works is not who gets the dizzy/KD first it is if i get my warcry off lol. no dizzy/KD for you ![]()
and then i take my 20 sec and kill them i have taken some one with 80 kin and like 15 stun comp. it was hard but with the moves i have at my disposal it was noy imposable..
OH YA I DONT USE TKM i have it just for the bounses and for fun duels to check stuff out

Its very easy to beat other players whom do not use defence stacking, or that do depending on whom has the better tempalte. I would say you probly have around 160melee def an 150 range def as your bonuses. Now consider you have this now, yes its easy for you to do what you say you can do. But when publish 7 rolls around your in a for a wake up call. DO NOT rely on your other professions defence stackings those will go away soon, an the true testment of your ablities will shine by your skill in pvp. Good luck to you enjoy your defence stacking while you got it. ^-^ As for me, I fight ol'school style no fancy defence stacking for me. Stright up master brawler + master fencer, 4 4 0 0 medic, 4 0 0 0 scout, novice artisan. An good ol fastion BE cloths. I been swinging more towards not using any armor these days since I am finding BE cloths more functional.

i agree and i was fighting def stacking apponets. i have put all my skill points into melee and should not be punshed for the and do not agree with them nerfing def... i am a fighter and a damn good one but if they ARE going to nerf it the next thin to hit the choping block will be TKM. the next great template is going to be (drum roll please) TKM/Comando flame row. and some other skills in probly medic
but i am going to stay the fencer and probly pick up somthing that will help me more in large scale PVP.. ![]()
