Thread: how does 50 vs kd fells ?

well i alwys had 70 tka plus fancer but since the patch i been planing on rebuilding my combo and i need the skills point so im gining up the 20 that i had in tka with 50 how knockble will i be with 70 no on can kd me for an hour bring out your tkm carabineers bh dirty fighers non onf them can kd me with 70 so how does 50 work out for you?

I guess you just got lucky not gettin kd'ed. You only have a 30% chance of being knocked down...but we Fencers hace a secret...its called....

No idea how you got away without being KD, I was a master fencer and pistoleer (100 KD I believe) and still was KD from time to time. You essentially lost 1/3 of your KD defense, I would expect a KD to land anywhere from30% to 50% of the time (depends greatly on your attackers accuracy and any other defenses you may have such as dodge and so forth that would prevent the attack from hitting in the first place).


Please not my response is completely a guess, I really do not completely understand all the combat rolls that are done. If someone else actaully did experiments, I would very much be interested in hearing the result of this change as well.

i have +70 kd (tkm/trickshot)...i had a tkm try to kd2 me....after 12 times she gave up...had a blademaster/master brawler try to lunge2 me....didn't work after like 20 times...both of these tests without me COBing, and they weren't missing or anything, just not landing a kd...hope this helps

combat equilibrium only helpsyou recover quicker from kd. If your dizzy and get kded it won't help.

there is always a 10% chance u will be KD no matter how much defence u have, i have +120 and i sitll get knocked down from time to time, but much less then before.

im a master fencer/tk/ pistoler -0-0-4-2 and i got over 130kd def 212 with KD food

ima master fencer and tka 4/3/3/3


which gives me 70 and i can not remeber the last time i was kd


and its also fun to be able to pvp with out armor

you know that you are WAY over the cap with the food right? I think 125 is the cap .. not positive .. might save you some $.

125 cap doesn't apply to KD defense. Only melee defense, ranged defense, dodge, counterattack, and block.

Also any "Additional" mods negate the cap.


So for instance if you had 150 KD defense somehow naturally, it would only count 125 of that( all defenses count, not just certain dfenses by the way). however, if you had BE clothes, SEA's and food, all combining to +50 in added mods to your KD defense, in reality you have 175 Kd defense. Add to that that while I'm not sure anyone knows how much exactly COB negates in terms of the cap, it obviously boost things past it, so wtih somehow 175 KD defense, if you COB'ed, its entierly possible to have 200 KD defense or higher depending. Essentially becoming litterally un-KD-able, more or less.
