Holy crap, this thing is so great! I can't believe the difference!

Right now I'm 3,4,3,4 (very close to Master) and Center of Being is great! I happen to be on Endor as soon as I logged in, and I fought a bol stomper or something; it conned white. Basically, before the patch I would be hard pressed to kill one of these without any specials- I would have to heal. I could take them out ok, but I'd have to spam bodyhit3. Anyways, so I throw on CoB and fight it; maybe 20% or less of its hits went through! AND CoB lasted for like 26 seconds!

I experimented more and found that if I CoB a white and then spam bodyhit3 I can kill it before my CoB runs out (26 secs) and if you throw in a blind, it wont hit me once! That means I only lose HAM for the specials, add a Tat Sunburn and I should be able to kill whites without taking ANY damage! This is amazing!

Also, usually I couldnt take a pack of dark blues; one I can take, but a whole pack would hit me too many times for little amounts and I'd get incapped. I throw on CoB, run into a pack of blues and fight, I have to throw on CoB another once or twice, but basically I can take out the whole pack no problem! This is so cool! I can't wait to get a full suit of composite, that combined with CoB and Fencers will literally be tanks! No dmg will get through at all!

I was wondering if any Master Fencers would like to share their stories of how they find CoB since they have it at the highest level; also, how does it work against reds, or red humanoids like nightsisters etc.,

Also, does anyone know how the efficiency works? I know the duration is in seconds, so +26 means 26 seconds, but what does an efficiency of +100 mean? Does it boost each defence (melee, ranged, dodge) by 100? 100%? Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know about you guys, but I love this change! We should really be able to tank now!

wow...I am a master Fencer but have yet to log on after this last patch.

I must say though; I cant wait to leave work!

have to concur. I'm a 2-2-2-2 fencer and white cons cant touch me when i have it activated.I was combine it with tat sunburns and blind as suggested above and the only pool i had to worry about was my mind and that was from the HAM of my weapon. Thats quite amazing when you realize i was using a gaffi stick.

You mean melee'shave somethingthatworks and we're able to tank now?

You know they're going to have an emergency patch tonight to "fix" this so it's really working as intended.

I can once again assume my role as the handsome,brash, and cocky Fencer that I used to be. (Insert arrogant laugh here)

Now...if only my weapons only matched my greatness.

yes, i have to agree, CoB is amazing. thisgood bh i dueled yesterday kept confuse/kd shooting me, andi couldn't find any tactics to use as we started at 10m distance. however, logged in today, found a bh with confuse and kd, and with my CoB i beat him. course he could have kited me....

Cib is great im still low in fencer only 0221 but now instead of the low lvl mobs and or faction missions i can level on mountain squills i wonder what that guy that could kill 2 rancors dose now /drool

I can't seem to get to work. I am 0231 in Fencer and haven't mastered Brawler yet.

Whenever I use it, it activates fine but as soon as I get into combat, I get the message "Your thoughts drift away from self-preservation".

How is it supposed to work?

i'm scared though... we're getting strong and the Devs might not like that. can you trickle down some of the sentiment of the devs on the new changes? are they happy that i can now solo a rancor if i do it right? last night, a group of four of us were on Dathomir, and we ran into a nightsister trainer with two rancors on top of a gaping spider queen nest, and a freed nightsister slave camp while being chased by rhao kwis. it was the best melee (in the sense of crazy fighting) i have ever witnessed. and we won. every single person, the bounty hunter, the commando, the master doctor was incapped. except me. it was gorgeous. even with the incaps they were up quickly, and we walked out alive.

Rro, i just got master brawler, in case you care. i haven't used my pets since. is it too late to join the ranks of anti-cowardly-pet users?

I'm working towards becoming a fencer, so please explain how Cob works! Thanks!
