Thread: Fencer stun baton bug please fix.
I've posted this a few times in the dev and tech support forums, but due to the lack of fencers there it never gets enough replies to be noticed.
It's a simple issue, after the big patch stun batons no longer work on creature lairs, my other one handed weapons all work fine, before the patch my stun baton worked fine too.

My character actually looks like he's hitting the lair, but no damage is done, and the creatures do not even agro.
Please fix as soon as you can, not really urgent, just a pain.

I noticed that my stun baton was doing very little damage to the lair, but ya know it could have been my pet damaging it, while I was in fact doing nothing at all..
Without being flippant about the problem, I would suggest the devs not make this a priority when the fact is that lairs have no resists. Hence no reason not to just change to another (more damaging might I add) weapon to beat on it.

Stun Batons do not work on any types of lairs. This has been a bug since the patch last month. Among other issues. =p
Another one is, if your chasing someone with a melee weapon you sometimes get target is out of range even if your 2-3 meters ontop of them this has happened alot.
I recently just purchased a Stun Baton and mine does damage to lairs, low damage but still some damage. I was hitting for around 108-16x consistently.

it is stun damage my tangle pistol also does no damage to the lair........
and you know what else my body hits do no damage to lairs either......
stun damage penetrates armor to cause shock to living organisms, doesn't it? in which case i wouldn't call it a bug.
i think it's ok. i don't know anyone who carries only a stun baton (it's really not a good idea if you are, from what i have learned). so just switch up. it can't be that much of an inconvenience can it?
hmmm. I only recently started using a stun baton and I also noticed that it wouldn't damage a lair. I thought this was normal and simply switched to another weapon.
I never knew dewbacks and banthas would fall so easily untiI started whacking on them with a stun baton. Now I pay attention to such things.
sometimes... only sometimes... when i'm all alone on Endor or Dathomir... i have this crazy dream... the gaderiffi baton... with AP1.

Altair, please, don't say stupid things like that. Us with ap? you're going to get us all killed. Just by you mentioning it, the gears have been put into motion, and next patch, just you wait. We'll prolly have all of our weapons add health to whatever we attack, and give us heavy disease when we equip them.
But just because I like to live dangerously, wouldn't it be grand if we got an ap2 flame sabre? (that was actually flaming as we used it) mwahahahaha
Honestly though, I'm not angry at the devs for hating fencers anymore, I understand that TKAsare the dev's pets, and that we're getting some juicy upgrades (we better) from TC.
Rro, you should try using the stunstick on alpha bolmas, its quite amusing. Doesn't work quite so well on the females, but meh.
I have noticed this as well, and I wrote it off as it beinga blunt weapon... heh Guess I was wrong.
but yes, I can no longer damage creature lairs with my stun bato, I have to swap to sword.
