Thread: Fencer stun baton bug please fix.
from what i understand, stun damage shouldn't damage lairs. it would be the equivalent of hitting a bear cave with a tazer, i suppose.
stun damage penetrates armor to cause shock to living organisms, doesn't it? in which case i wouldn't call it a bug.
i think it's ok. i don't know anyone who carries only a stun baton (it's really not a good idea if you are, from what i have learned). so just switch up. it can't be that much of an inconvenience can it?
dude on some level ican unsderstand what you are saying, but at the end of the day i can beat the circuits out of an atst with my stun batton, i should be able to at least damage a pile of sticks!
which yes, you probably could. but a stun baton relies on a electrical delivery system, i believe, that is only damaging to biological entities. if i'm right, which i may not be. so hitting a lair with a stun gun, even if you beat it hard enough, it'll break the stun gun first.
that's just how i see it, though...
I never thought to use it on those alphas. I'll try that tonight. They are the only trouble I have with the bolmas. Well... that and the females hitting my mind but my Zabrak abilities can help with that. I just wish we could use them more than once per hour. Every 15 minutes or so would be awesome since mind is basically the only thing that kills me.
I kinda think it sucks to be a master and still have the same weakness that I had the first minute I walked into the world. All the speed and fancy footwork in the world is useless when someone or something can plink your mind down the crapper in 1 or2 shots. For a class almost totally dependent on mind for our own moves, I wish we had some mind defense other than stat sucking helms. Ah well... this has all been said before, just not by me.
Just to chip in, my Jawa Ion Rifle does no damage to lairs either.
Those little blue bolts are awfully pretty though.
