Thread: Weapons ( Future of Fencer )
We could use rapiers too, with armor piercing.
These two have both to do with weapons, many ideas have come into the fencer community, I would like to see people post honest oppinions, links to posts from the past and then finally put up a vote for what the community likes best.

In adding weapons what must be thought about is the fighting style that accompanies each weapon. things like rapiers may do more precise concentrated damage in a stabbing motion, whereas the gaderffi baton is more club like (cant poke someones eye's like a rapier would. . Likewise the baton is one that blocks may be possible, whereas a rapier may break.
In application certain weapons (which there should be many) should allow for certain attacks and modify each individual's attack/defense mods. This allows for ranges of defensive fencers (or any proffession) to aggressive ones. It also make unlimited strategies over when to switch weapons and such. Combat can become more than a TKA spamming spitting rawl or a pistoleer on stopping shot.
We can use weapons that affect defenses against ranged over melee, allows us to be shot less, but dont get caught with one equipped against another melee.
Also has anyone suggested one time throwing weapons. guve me a crate of a couple hundred throwing knives, stars, axes, etc. So i can actually deal damage while being kited
some of these guys had a point, 'fencer' weapons would be nice, perhaps an offhand dagger (i cant remember the name of it in medevil times but they used it to catch others swords and for additional blocking) or a rapier like peircing weapon (ap2?, with its needle like tip) with low damage, but fast attack speed.
the ham costs around are very balanced i would say, with stun baton..you pay for what you get , and maybe its because im always buffed but i find i can spam styles even at 0201 fencer, quite fast even

Low damage and fast attack speed doesn't mean much when anyone with footwork 4 can reach the speed cap for every weapon we have, I would like an AP style thrusting weapon, hrm hrm Rapier, 200 base dmg when made and experimented by master weaponsmith, 3.0 speed so it doen't give too much an advantage to those who dont have footwork 4, maybe 3.2 /shrug.
