I made novice fencer last week, spent around 30k on this wanna know what u all think.

Traveled to 4 diff planets lookin at bazaars and talkin to people about their loot.

Bought a

  • Black Infiltration Suit with 4 Slots

  • Cool lookin belt with 2 slots

  • black boots with 2 slots

  • Black sunguard 2 slots

filled them all up with only one hand speed and damage attachments.

so then i go to try them out. Whoah! what a diff. Final stats is +40 sp and around +20 damage

the hell...? wow where did you get all those attachments?? I try and salvage them from the bazaar everyday and get 1 or 2 if I'm lucky. Nobody's selling them ATM. Plus, my character loves changing clothes so.... it's hard to part with different clothing if she has to just because of stats.

took me over a week to get them all lol, was very time consuming but worth every minute.

Cant wait to see what the footwork tree brings me.

Im saving up +10 Sp enhancers too. only have one atm. Ive read on the boards close to 20 but that is just insane. Spread the word on your server that you are looking to buy them they will turn up eventually.

I am also interested in purchasing these powerups. If you have any in excess or feeling very generous pst to hitokiri. I'm usually at Mos Eisly, Tatooine. Thanks!

Sounds like a great setup Fury, the only thing I worry about is there being a cap on speed at some point. I have looked but can't seem to get information on skill mod caps.

hmm... maybe ill have to do a little more testing, clothes on and clothes off with a weapon with a high speed, i know i saw a change but maybe it was just me being excited about gettin all the enhancements.

they are all the rolls, not disc and not the bio-eng ones. from everything i have heard they should be working but im gonna test tonight when i get home

I recently added a +1 1h melee accuracy skill tape onto my *blush* brasier and I noticed soon afterward that I had a little +25/+26 for that characteristic in the character screen; however, ever since then whenever I unequip that piece or re-equip it I don't that +skill enchancement showing up anymore...

Help?

I've been very into this strategy, but I've had problems with stacking skill modifiers. I put two + speed enhancements on the same item, and only one shows up on the item. When it didn't work I assumed it was not possible to put multiple skill enhancements of the same type into a socketed item. Did you get big skill enhancements to get this bonus, or did you stack a bunch in a smaller item? I got +7 speed combined on all my items. I have no idea if I get a benefit, but my clothing isn't doing anything else, so its not like I'm sacrificing something.

BTW, if you really want to see your benefits on your items here is a fix to the bug, and it is annoying.

Take off ALL your stat increasing clothes and log off. If you are off for about 10 minutes, you'll come back naked with base stats. Then you can put your clothes back on and you will see a numerical benefit (perhaps not an in-game benefit).

If you do not take off your clothes when you log off, you will come back with base stats with clothing on. When you take off your clothes, you will see a negative modifier. Which means, you may be able to get a benfit from negative modifier clothing if you have it when you come back in, and then take it off when you start killing.

But anyways, I'd really like to hear if you shoved multiple same type stat increasers into the same item to get those benefits.

Well..I hvae a ton of skill mods in the bank, but haven't played with them yet as I have no idea how to attach them to things. I have alot of both the disk types and the roll types.

Can anyone fill me in on how to get them into the sockets? Does it take a tailor?

(As you can tell I have no artisan skills...other than the scouting kind)

To use a skill enhancement item on clothes it MUST be a bandage looking item (not the square thing -- that is for socketed armor not in the game). To use the enhancement, you must get player made clothing with sockets -- this is not a given. The maximum sockets an item can have is 4. To use, just drag and drop onto the item. I would recommend unequiping the clothing prior to dropping onto the clothing -- I believe you will see the benefit once you put on the clothing.
