Can someone post good (or atleast above average) fencer weapon stats? Like the curved sword and gaffi stick? also for the stun batton.

Here's what I would probably consider my best all around fencer weapon...
75-172 damage / 2.2 speed / 36% wound chance / +13 range / 26-51-35 HAM / 2900 creds

I knowthe new weaponspost by Raph went by a while ago but i had some ideas and wanted to get some feedback, first off, ill say that i believe the majority of melee weapons in galaxies look like there from the dark ages (curved swords, daggers, wood staves...etc)
What i think we need are more vibroblades/stun batonsand the like, i believe someone mentioned we should have a heat based weapon, great idea in my opinion,i think we need more weapons that seem like they would be in our time, of course with the exception of the gaffi stick since tuskens do use "100 year old weapons."
Vibrosabres, Vibrorapiers, PowerSword, HeatBlade...etc
im not saying we should do away with the "ancient" weapons but they should play a less significant part in the melee professions, you dont see a masterrifleman firing a musket
opinions anyone?

All I want for lifeday is a vibrosword, or at leasta weapon witharmor piercingbig enough that people could see I was a fencer from more than 3 feet away.
For other types of weapon I saw someone post on that thread about a monofilament whip, think that would be really cool, but then you have the question of how do you animate a whip that's one molecule thick?
How about a sword that's made of extremely dense and heavy materials that requires tiny repulsorlift generators on it to wield?

o ya, i forgot to mention that maybe we should have a one handed cleaver, theres just something about that sword that looks futuristic besides the coolness in general

I'd just like a Saber, just like a normal sword with a cover over the handle... so My Cavalry Division would look a little bit cooler...Like a real one and i could mount charges and stuff, But mounted combat is so messed up anyway that it doesnt matter...

Seriously how lame is it that our strongest weapon is a GAFFI STICK. God those things look STUPID.
What about a Police Baton style weapon? THeres a cooler sounding martial arts name than "police baton", but you get the idea.
How bout Sais?
Or, if we are just 1-h weapons in general... then NUMCHUCKS?
Maces?
Or just make the rantok sword USEFUL?

As a master fencer...i can say with great certainty that i truely believe the Gaffi Stick is a fare better weapon all around. I use a sliced on doing 174-287dmg/ 3.5speed/ with low HAM costs. The speed issues becomes non-influential due to the speed increases with skill training. With a +90 to weapon speed my speed is around 1.0-1.5 tops. I also have a Ryyk sliced to 225dmg but with HAM issues and a +67 to possible damage the gaffi stick is well worth it.

I think they're called Ton-Fa. I probably messed up the spelling though.

I love the gaffi. I love the specials moves with them aswell.
Gaffi & stun baton are the shiznit. But yup, i wouldn't mind some other cool looking weapons.

the gaffi stick is our best weapon? really? hmm i am using a curved sword 222 @2.1 at the moment - i like it because of it's cool asian style

yea, what the minimum dmg on your curved ? and i'm sure it is pup.
