Thread: Weapons ( Future of Fencer )
I think any new weapons with low mind and average health/action will be welcome. I personally would like to see a rapier as an elite weapon. In western civilization real rapiers were the elite, most technologically advanced one hadned weapon, if you were stabbed by a rapier, you would die.Katanas or other asian influenced weapons would be cool as well.
With the Rapier, make it an elite weapon, armor piercing 2, kinetic dmg, high dmg (500), lowHAM and fast. Yes I am asking for a lot, but a master fencer should know where to stick an armored opponent (weak points of the armor). I am asking for it to be the highest dmg fencer weapon, not the highest dmg weapon in game. For balance (not sure how it will work) but rapiers are thrusting weapons, prevent AOE attacks with it, that is where Katanas and batons are useful. Situational weapons will greatly enhance the strategy aspect of the game.
Here is my opinion:
1) Lower HAM cost! Like one previous post said, we are supposed to be fast and precise killers, not get incapped swinging our swords/batons. TK's are precise killing machines with little/no HAM cost.. not saying we should be that low but lower than what it is now.
2) New Swords: Such as a vibro-rapier, vibro-long sword, as well as vibro-sabers. Why all the vibro?? Well, since there appears to be a pattern of one-hand weps not doing the heavy dam that others have, and how we have only 2 state effect changing skills (blind and dizzy) why not have more of an option for armor peircing?
im thinking we should 2 duel swords both help backwords. And allow tailors to make sheaths for them to go on ur back. When these r equiped u go from a lame fencer (even thougth fencer in this game rox) to mor eof a ninja.
