I said it once, and I'll say it again...

when posted weapon stats.. we really need to post the range and HAM drains...

The HAM drains are super important to a fencer who requires the use of his special moves. Those darn Ryyk blades may have high damage... but dang, you'll kill yourself if you use any special moves in a fight.

I stick with curved swords and vibroblade now. In small groups I use the vibroblade.. it allows me to do about 3 special moves for the same amount of HAM reduction as one move with a Ryyk blade.. plus, the vibroblade is AR 1.. while the Ryyk is AR 0.. Overall, it just doesn't make sense to use a Ryyk as a fencer. On top of that, I've heard the advanced core of the vibroblade is broken! Just wait till that gets fixed and check the damage out then!

I'm merely an Advance One-handed specialist at this point, but I've got a gaderffi baton that does 53-138 damaged: obviously sliced or just better made.

I'm unaware of the speed or HAM costs because the game isn't open yet.

I've a question, though. What significance does the value of the speed rating has? Is it the seconds between attacks?

Curved Sword, 73-160 damage, 2.4 speed, 34.38 wound, 9/9/9 Hit Mods, 32/48/31 HAM costs. Unsliced.

Thanks a bunch. The guy isn't listed under vendors, so I wouldn't have even found him unless you told me the searching suggestion.

I got my hands on a Ryyk blade that does 53-153 with 3.0 speed. The wound percentage is 35.45 and the HAM costs are 55/45/40. It's unsliced.

Can slicing reduce HAM costs as well, or can it only be between speed and damage?

Dunno if this counts... but i have a 2h curved sword, 81-256 dmg, 2.0 speed, ive gotten it to 102-312 dmg, 2.0 speed with a power up, andalso down to 1.4 spd, 81-256 dmg with a speed power up. only prob is the atrocious 79 action cost, which boosts to 128 or so on my better styles.

This thing is about 3 weeks old, btw i have a friend who just bought a new, top of the line2h curved sword,and got lucky with a 36% dmg slice, making it 120-340, 2.8, 28/56/12. with a 32%+ power up to damage, spd, or both, this thing is a monster. he let me try it once, as he doesnt have novice swordsman yet, i was landing my heavier 2h hit 3's on tuskens near wayfar, when they were prone (he shoots at them, they get prone, i broadside them), and 1 shotting them half the time, at about 5-7k dmg max ive gotta get me one

i've been very happy with my Rantok Sword ever since i was qualified to use it. I didnt pay much for it. And the biggest reason i was using it was that it didnt have any range penalities like the Rhyk. But now im thinking i need to go look at the rhyk's again. 45-150 speed 3.3 always seemed good until i read this thread.
