Thread: Warcry Nerf
well i see with war cry 2 going bye bye swordman would be next to worthless in big fights like vs krayts and other high end mobs because we will not be a le to even swing at them once without getting one hit. it seems like the rangew users will just have to keep using their kiting techniqes vs other high end mobs other then krayts that is.
but really jut as it was starting to gtet fun to bee a swordman vs a krayts tehy took that ablity away. and btw you could not solo any thing with war cry alone it was the fact that our bleeds+ war cry let us solo anythign in teh game. now that bleeds are worthless and do next to nothing we still wont be able to solo anythign even with warcy since our bleedsa dont do anything.
but yeah we will still be able to solo night sister intents and maybe some of teh 20k ham ones. without buffs but with buffs we will still be able to solo anythig up to protectors.
and with warcry we could solo anything up to speelweavers and be fine

oh but, by d@mn they wont do jack crap about the insane damages and stackings that Area Combat poison can inflict on huge numbers of players all at once etc etc etc
take away bleeds for weapon users, nerfing warcry, added damage mitigations, etc etc etc but hellllllllll no cant touch that poison....its just so weak becaus eit only ticks every 3 seconds, forget that it ignores all resists armor mitigatiosn and PvP reduction.
Make it Melee specific, ONLY when you are in melee mode can u warcry, Cause thats what it is.. its a cry to pause your opponent while you.. THE LIMITED RANGE attacker goes after the guy who can shoot you from WELL beyond your attack range

so far from what i hear .. this won't be the mez you all think of when you say the word mez. The target can still move. They just can't attack till they are attacked first or the 'delay" timer runs out (20seconds for warcry2).
So if kited, warcry2... hit peace and chase them down till they are in range for a lunge2 or whatever.
This just stops you from beating them senseless without them attacking back. And as far as i can tell, the resist rate will be the same. Isn't it works or they spam it till it works...unless you can stop them ahead of time. All i know is that warcry won't be feared anymore.
I saw nothing in the language of the statement suggesting that warcry would only work on mobs that were not actually attacking you. It only seems to state that you cannot attack a warcried mob or it will break the effect.
If that's the case this isn't such a bad change. It ruins a very popular tactic in 1on1 PVP sure, but we'll adapt.
