You can get a dev to revese the stats.
Those will tighen the damage range considerably on a stun baton, but not sure if it would make it illegal or not.

They are illegal if they produce a weapon with a higher min than max.
These bones will produce a Stun baton or a Gaffy with invalid stats.
However they will not produce an invalid acklay power hammer.
In both cases though I would recommend getting the reversed. I usually just submit a ticket under the category of Crafting >> scematics.
To get the most prompt response, place the bones in a house on the floor or in a bag. Just mention in your ticket the location of the house and where in the house the bones are located along with what their current values and serial numbers are. It usually takes SOE under 24 hours to respond and flip the bones.

thats cool so what do u think should i reverse them and stick em in a ph or stun baton? or should i keep em like this and see what i can make legally. like what would be the bigger profit maker?

Read this post and the clicky of a conversation I had with a CSR ingame. All geoloot with reverse stats are considered illegal and crafting any kind of weapon with those are an exploit.
You can have a CSR reverse them. easiest way to get them to do that is to place the bones in your house and proivde the location and wp + Planet in the ticket. Usually it doesnt take more than 24 hours before the stats has been swapped. Hope this has helped you out

No, but it would be illegal.
If you look it up in the holocron by typing in Acklay Bones it tells you that you must submit a ticket to get them reversed under Player > Inventory > then like someone before me said, put them in a house, say where the house is, and they will come reveres them. If you use the bones with a higher min in a weapon it will be illegal EVEN IF THE MIN ON THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS STILL LOWER THEN IT'S MAX. That’s just the way it is. When the min is only 10-20 points lower then it's max that gives the user an unfair advantage. SOE takes exception to that.

No they are not illegal but all weapons made from bugged components should be reviewed by CSR.
However, as long as min is lower than max they would not have anythign to say and it is impossible to tell what components were used in a weapon

true true both arguments are valid but i prefered to stick with the higher max dmg so i had a csr switch them and like people said before the csr told me that "You were correct in your assumption that these bones are illegal do to a spawning bug. We appreciate you placing a ticket on these bones and you should always do so in the future..." so its illegal to make a weapon with the bones but only if your a total noob and advertise that you did
