Thread: Fencing, is it worth it? Questions. need help
Ithink you might have read me wrong. I dont use Cho Mok very often with the curved. I mainly use 1h Hit 1 five or six times for a thousand points a pop with very little mind useageand do the same or better damage as I can using Cho Mok one time and sucking down 1/4 of my blue bar. If that makes any sense.
lets see. I cant remember all these names and once again forgive me. I really dont keep track of all these numbers. I just watch the combat tab and try to get an idea of what is going on.
1H Hit 1 x 5 or 6 for around 5000-6000 pts of damage with very little mind use. I can regen almost as fast as I can use it.
Cho Mok for 3000 pts of damage and sucks down a lot of mind. Cant regen THAT fast. hehe
Perhaps that makes a little more sense.
I would like to try out a nice gaderffi. If I could find a nice gaderffi. Every one I have ever found just flat out sucked. I've never found one that does more damage than my curved.
but yeah, I'll try to get all of my stats written down for everything and post em here. The stat migrations and armor and weapon stats and all that.
i bought the suit of composite, but i can't wear all of it. i usually wear just the chest, biceps and bracers. that keeps my health high which tends to be what creatures hit mostly. i don't PvP yet, more than just a bit, so i really don't need to be an all-around.
unfortunately, i'm still wearing myself down a lot with my specials. i didn't get a chance to really try your method of using several low-end specials, but i will tonight if i can.
remember to have your weaponsmith put everything he's got into the damage of the gaffi. then get a damage slice. i think you'll find at least SOME use for it.
The other non-mind stats don't really matter if you can buff yourself as a doctor lol
As a Zabrak Doctor/Fencer....the Gaderiffi Baton, with its high Action/Health costs, and low Mind cost is Tailor made for my toon.
I have all my stats migrated to mind (including 900 Willpower), buff everything else....and spam specials all day. I love it.
Fencers suck? I don't think so
I've seen a novice fencer own a master TK with ease, same goes for all pikemens and two handed.
I've seen a fencer solo two grassland voritor trackers at once
I've seen a fencer with master brawler lunge skill and kd an opponent and kill him on two hits.
Fencers suck? no, if any thing sucks it is the pikemens lol i see master pikemen get owned by a onehand4 opponent. not even a fencer yet! and they were both none nooblites
now tell me fencers suck lol they OWN
ahh ImpCH, you speak the truth.
accomplishments this weekend:
A bull rancor. I was out killing bolmas on Saturdaywith a buddy and one of these big beasts came lumbering over and started attacking. Down he went. They shake the screen like crazy when they fall down. The guy I was with simply stood there in amazement and proclaimed that I was truly badass. eh.... That's what I've been saying this whole time.I nailed it home even further when I tanked 5 bolmas at once for him, bled them all twice and beat em down one by one.
A Canyon Krayt. Ok I was in a group on this one. But we got him! I was not buffed and I did get incapped once. 4 out of the 12 in the group survived. I was one of the 4. Afterwards, we were discussing the fact that none of us had ever seen a Krayt die before. Was it because I was there with my delays and bleeds? I would like to think that I had a little bit to do withit. It was the bleed that eventually killed him but surely I was not the only one there with bleeding hits. The 40 seconds worth of Warcry 2 delays had to help though. 40 seconds of a Krayt standing there and not attacking has got to be a tremendous help to any group. We paid the price but we won. I do not think I could handle one on my own. They seem a lot more angry and vicious than Kimos.
I don't care what it takes, I'm going to make **edit** sure that every one of these ranged hunting groups can see the benefits of having an awesome brawler in the group with them.
oh btw, I got a couple gaderiffis thisweekend. Not the best... like 252 max damage or something but yeah, they do dish out some serious punishment. Our guild armor/weaponsmith is working on better ones now. Average damage has indeed gone up though. Looks like around 400 average with the occasional 600 in there on a good hit. Very nice.
Looks like a weedeater.
It's a little late for trimming the verge, don't you think?
