Thread: FAQ: Fencer Special Attack Info
Heya's Raph,
I dunno... my gad stick is 3.5, and with some of the higher level specials, it seems that I don't attack once per sec....
Maybe I'm just imagining it....

Yes, I could imagine it could be over 1.0 second. Now I have Master Brawler as well, so my speed is +95. That takes 3.5 down to 0.175 before the multiplier. A special would require a delay multiplier higher than x6 to reach 1.1 seconds.
I could always drop Master Brawler to return to +90 speed, which might allowthe very slowest specials to be identifiable. However, I still wouldn't be able to get the majority of them. I haven't given up though. I think I may have a way to get the numbers I need. I'll workon the speeds after I finish with the HAMs. ![]()
Absolutely sure.
Check, double checked, tripple checked, and then verified. Several hundred carefully scrutinized tests with each attack. And that doesn't even include the tests I threw out due to factors interjecting which I felt could have tainted the data. I didn't want to risk it.
With your weapon: 142 max hit
performing DizzyHit1: x2.0 multiplier
and the Fencer bonus: x1.86
It doesn't surprise me at all that you see 500 damage attacks: 142 x 1.86 x 2.0 = 528 damage
Max Hit with BodyHit1 would be 396, and with Hit1 it would be 660.
Soyou should do more damage with DizzyHit1 than with BodyHit1. BodyHit1 is only a x1.5 multiplier, while DizzyHit1 is a x2.0 multiplier.
Hit1 is not that much higher than DizzyHit1, soif you got lucky with DizzyHit1 and unlucky with Hit1, it wouldn't be unusual to seem like DizzyHit1 was higher.

Too bad there isnt a way to send the attack data to a file.
There is... and I do.

What is the damage modifier for pvp?
75% reduction on most types of attacks. However, some forms of damage currently escape this reduction.
Sure thing. When you get to the point in time when you are ready for the data to go to the file, simply type "/log" (minus the quotes) and everything will go to a text file in your SWG folder.
When you are done, just type "/log" again and the data will stop being sent to the file.
The file produced can be opened with nearly any text editor, or can be sent to a parser to categorize the data.

Cool, thanks for the info.. And I dont suppose I could get my hands on that way to export the attack data hey?
