DarthGanjookie I think I will try the non starting planet idea, but which one should I go to? Any suggestions on what to kill once I get there?

I have a lot of trouble keeping HAM bars up, maybe it is due to my Curved Sword's costs? I'll probably buy a Vibroblade soon, say tomorrow? Also I don't think I'm ready for fighting against humanoids just yet. I have yet to declare a side in the civil war, and I'm afraid of losing too many faction points and then regret it later

I must say though, the Fencing exp is coming in (however slow) while I kill everything in sight at Tyrenna for Scouting exp (Going for either Bounty Hunter or Creature Handler, depending on the difficulty of obtaining Survival exp). However, right now it is 3:49 AM PST and time for bed! Thank you all for the replies, they have been very helpful!

I would say Dathomir, but you would need a pet/bot to help out. I get around 2k per kill, you can get novice Creature Handler and get a pet to help you, I enjoy having the pet, he is better company then some players.

Baz Natches as you will hear are good xp, and if you can get a mission for them, 10k creds also.

The first thing I did on Dathomir, since I didnt have a pet, was run to Brakaset lairs, destroy them and run like hell outta there. That was a good 2k-3k xp for each lair, and I could hit 1 or 2 while burst running. I then proceded to kill the weaker life forms there, the "antelope" type creatures and harvest them for good scout xp.

Some people like to call destroying lairs a cheat, but its all fair as far as Im concerend.

Good luck!

Once again you guys manage to give great advice. The lunge-dizzy combo will definitely help a lot when I fight against humanoids. Do people like meatlumps and swoopers have a faction? I hear they are thug faction... do I lose faction points if I take missions to destroy them?

The Dathomir advice is great! I especially like the 2-3k exp, and I will definitely go there after I obtain my Vibroblade and Novice Creature Handler. By the time I get there I'll probably have Novice Fencer. Thanks guys! I guess Fencer isn't a lost art after all

Best thing I've found on BN missions on dath:

Shoot the lair once from your rmax range, they won't start healing yet. When they have made it about 75% of the way to you, burst run straight to the lair and hit it 3 -4 times with your most powerful hit. The lair should now be history, you should have a good HAM picture, and enough juice left in your burst run to make a clean escape.

One thing to keep in mind. Make sure you know the area you are going to run to afterwards. I have found myself in the "safe" arms of a rancor afterwards by running blindly and the radar not being able to keep up.

Wow! I managed to do a few the 5000 credit Brakaset missions! I can't kill the BN just yet, nor have I found any of those missions at the terminal. The run away strategy works fantastic, I got from 30,000 exp to 70,000 exp in a matter of hours. This is truely incredible! My new Vibroblade sliced to 1.9 speed helps too Thanks guys!

The lunge dizzy combo in NO WAY makes fencer any better than other brawler elite classes, because lunge dizzy is basicaly a "ghetto knockdown" and all of the other classes have them.

"ghetto knockdown" ?

I'm confused, what does that mean exactly?

I've been exping on Dathomir killing Baz Nitches for about 1k exp each (with a group, of course). I got to Novice Fencer in about 3 hours or so. Now.. where can I get it trained?

i am a fencer master on the BRIA server.... the only thing i dont like about it is the lack of speed.... movement that is.... u have no chance agianst a master marksmen or a very high lvl BH...... 60 meters is a very long distance to cover... but once u do get up close its lights out to them..... as for fencer being weaker/slower then the other melee classes.... well thats just all in strategy....... every class have their strengths and weaknesses..... but i do love my fencer.... btw lunge dizzy combo dont work all the time especially on TKA's and ppl with strong helmsso dont rely on that combo cuz ull only waste ur HAM and die as i have many times to TKA masters..... the only strategy/info i can give u in becoming a better fencer is to use ur range agianst the faster ppland ur speed agianst the slower ppland agianst ppl with more range just pray they miss .....

danin - "ghetto knockdown" in that we don't get a real knockdown skill, so we need to combo to drop people.

thing is, it's been my experience that it's easier to get back up from a KD than from a lunge-dizzy combo. the dizziness seems to keep you on the ground a lot longer than just being KD'ed. when i was KD'ed while duelling a buddy, it seemed that i got back up one or two ticks later. but when i lunge-dizzied him, he stayed down until i beat him unconscious.
