Thread: PvP question: How do I counteract this?
WAKE UP!!!!
First off stop yelling.
Secondly...
No, Tai..I surrendered it because I wanted to master Bio-engineer in order to make some pets that would have less of a chance of being massacred in PvP, which sadly failed because CH is borked
If all of the profession seem to be "BORKED" then perhaps it's not the professions at all but instead it's the user. I want to say this is a great thread and I enjoy reading the different strategies and tactics people use and I think it's very beneficial.
General_Reedy stop your whining. If you can't figure out how to duel then don't to it. I'm told all the time that I dont' stand a chance against a TKM with my Doc/Rifleman unless I kite and frankly have only lost once(still novice at the time) in a one on one. I never Kite TKM's as I dont' need to. It always makes them feel overconfident when I start the duel off only 10m away from them. Then a little while later they are laying on their backs in the clone center. If you can't duel then either get better gear or stop your whining and pay attention to what people are saying. They are trying to give you the answers and to help you improve but instead of listening you tell them how stupid they are and to nerf everything in sight. When I get done grinding up my fencer tree on my Alt you are more than welcome to come to my server and watch me drop any TKA in site. It has to do with strategy(which also includes foods/armor and other prep) and character build. If you simply pay attention to what works instead of being ignorant you could build a character that would be successful in PvP. My main character(only second one I ever built) was designed by me and can win nearly any one on one duel and it often takes 4-6 players to take me down in larger battles. Short of being kited(can be controled by choosing your battles) my new character will have a similar career to my first PvP'er and one of her masteries will be Fencer. Fencer is not a weak profession, just one that requires some strategy to be successful. If you spent as much time working on stragies as you appear to whining then you could be a decent PvP'er.
