Thread: Your VOTE for Fencer TOP Fencer Issues (10/4/03)
Fencer Issues:
1. Lower HAM costs, specifically Mind.
2. Alter the speed cap for Fencers. (0.5 suggested)
3. Higher Melee/Ranged Defense and/or One-handed Toughness.
4. Better AP and more damage types.
5. Improve Dodge.
6. Give us a method of stopping/slowing Fleeing opponents.

There was nothing wrong with the topics you wished to vote for in your first vote. That's not what I was talking about. Even here in the first post I wrote:
I'm including an abbreviated version of what is at the link for those not will to visit the link themselves. I know there are issues brought up on the thread that may not be expressed in this abbreviation. Most were simply minor various on this list.However, anything not on this list that you would like to vote for is still fine.
The way this will work:
Place your vote for the Top 6 issuesin the order of importance to you. The one at the top of your list gets 6 points, then next down gets 5 points, and so forth.
The only thing I was bringing up was that some people were only voting for one single issue, instead of their Top 6. That's all ![]()
I did request that long explainations of things not on the list be placed in the appropriate issue discussion forum just to keep things tidy here. But I would prefer everyone to vote their peace; whether it's on the abbr. list or not.

1. Better selection of viable 1-handed weapons.
2. Fix Change weapon stutter.
3. Fix Begin combat stutter.
4. Fix Hit-while-running stutter.
5. Higher Melee/Ranged Defense and/or One-handed Toughness.

Fencer Offense Issues
1. Give us a /stick command to compensate for Client vs. Server issues.
2. Alter the speed cap for Fencers. (0.5 suggested)
3. Restore functionality to our Status attacks.
4. Give us a method of stopping/slowing Fleeing opponents.
Fencer Defense Issues
1. Improve Dodge.
2. Improve/Fix Status Defenses.
3. Higher Melee/Ranged Defense and/or One-handed Toughness.

1. Lower HAM costs, specifically Mind.
And, just to add, dual wield would be good too!
My two cents:
1. More viable 1-handed weapons, please. I refuse to use a nightstick, cheerleader baton or a butter knife in battle. It's simply unbecoming of a fencer
2. Restore functionality to our status attacks. They shouldn't have been nerfed in the first place, what do the Devs think we are? Melee Commandos?
3. Revisit the speed cap/issue. It's ridiculous that a Pikeman can swing a polearm as fast as I can my Rykk blade.
4. Reduce HAM costs for our special manuevers
5. Please make our plethora of defenses actually mean something. Parrying would be nice also, but having Dodge actually do something would be nice.

1) Give us a way to stop / slow fleeing oponents.
2) Lower speed cap 0.5 suggested.
3) Fix stuttering ( begin combat, change weapon, and atttacking while running)
4) Improve / FIx status defenses
5) Better selection of Viable one handed weapons. ( Low mind cost for weapons )
- Alter speed cap so we actually shine asthe speed class we are supposed to be.
- More Melee/Ranged defenses.
- Alotmore Dodge. And I mean alot. We are supposed to be quick.
- Lower HAM costs. Mind specifiaclly.
- Better weapons, moreselections.Medium ARpiercing would be nice.
- Fix kiting. Or give ranged a message "Target behind you. Can't shoot no line of sight"
