Anyhow, stun baton is defintely situational. You'll probably hardly ever use it. Unless you do PvP a lot, you might use it 10% of the time.
Vegitox, they changed how mobs con.. just be careful and throw your old rules of what you can fight out the door. Also, you make no mention of what weapon your using... I primarily use vibroblade for soloing so I don't kill myself. If you using a ryyk, then you'll find yourself a bit low on HAM quite often.

More than anything I'd like to see an Armor Piercing Fencer weapon that doesn't look like a Ginsu Steak Knife.
Any other changes are beyond the scopeof my meager experience to comment on (just barely made Novice Fencer and it's my only elite profession).
DARTH GANJOOKIE I'm sorry you feel so emotionally tied to the stun baton. So let me rephrase this, to "ME" it's useless! I PVP, but I prefer killing things that matter. I paid 10k for something that i'll only use 10% of the time..according to my calculations I paid 9,900 credits too much.
Perhaps one day they'll actually show the stun damage being done.
Cutting and pasting this from my thread since I can't get any feedback:
Devs, what did you do to our special move damage? You claimed in your patch notes that it was increased, that is not true. This is ridiculous. Whatever "adjustment" they did to our 1h specials is ridiculous.
I am now hitting for 400-600 wiht my /melee1hHit1 (Cho Mai). My freakin' /melee1hHit2 (Cho Sun) now does on average 200-300. I worked my arse off to get the next special in that line and now it sucks. I might as well not even bother. I'm afaid to find out what my next specials will do. 100? 50? (I used to hit for over 600-800 with melee 1 and 1000+ with melee 2)

How about this...
Fencing is the one handed elite profession. Fencing works best off speed. What is best for a fencer are speedier attacks, lots more special moves, and less HAM drain. An artisan gets ALOT of recipes for crafting items. Some of those items are almost worthless andsome are almost priceless. I think elite melee classes should get something similar to that. We should get a lote more special moves, but some special moves are better than others, and some special moves are just for show.
Extending the idea of special moves...most martial arts have some sort of 'forms' practice in which a person goes through a set form in order to demonstrate technical knowledge and proficiency. Think Tai Qi (aka Tai Chi)..did you know that TaiQi is not just a form but a martial art?...TKA could do a TaiQi form. Fencers could do a one hand sword form, and etc for the other melee artists. This should be easy to do, but I'm not a programmer (well not since 1991). All the dev's would need to do is allow us to do attack moves without a target. They we could make up our own sequences and forms and teach them to eachother in game and require others to perform a form in exchange for training.

Anyone have a list of the changes to Fencers in the future? Possibly so I know what problems are being adressed so I don't have to bring them up?
OH yeah I forgot to mention a smple change that i would like to see. one of my biggest pet peeeves of the game is a simple one. Not every person in the galaxy is right handed ok! please let us choose to be right or left handed, I hate how similar we all are, no offense to you guys we have no choice but to all weild the same weapons and armor but this is a simple fix i would think.

is there already any reply on the "using gungan blaster deflecting shields" as a fencer (uses energy to recharge, shield can take several bolts before the enrgy runs down and needs to be recharged)

Here's one of my biggest pet peevs... I go up to someone, swing at them with my curved sword, and look at the damage I do. Wait a sec... he isn't bleeding at all? Hell, do we fencers smack people with the broad sides or out swords or what?
Granted it should be nothing as powerful as a normal bleeding-inducing hit, but it'd be nice if a bladed weapon did something. Maybe cause a one-shot bleed of 10% of the damage you did. Nothing major, just to show you're weapon's not some dull stick. Of course, it wouldn't apply to stun batons or other clubs/staffs.
Also, does anyone else have a problem where you stop and re-take your combat stance every time your attacking target changes? It makes it really hard to run from a group if you've no chance of winning.
These are some fantastic ideas! Due to the last patch fencers have gotten even weaker, I hope that some of these changes come soon. The stuttering through combat even keeps me from running away at times, and I would LOVE to see some more blade choices

I think its so stupid how a non master TK can do more damage than a master fencer ..a 2 hand sword can swing faster than a fencer .. we get ability to weld a pipe for our elite profession.for some reason I don't think the dev like us to well ...and not to mention wegot no type of knock down or posture change beside lunge ..I hardly see anything get knock down from dizzy attack ..i try every combination . I duel alot of melee tosee what is our weak point and so far its everything..we have no speed ..we have no damage..do the dev know whatare fencer in RLcome on now if you gonna have a fencer profession at least tryto make it likethe real deal ..I been master fencer for almost a month now ..and i'm about to untrain fencer .
