Thread: fencer vs TKA
Interestingly enough I just dueled a TKM and won one of our two matches. Of note is that even with a blind on him andusingCOB, he seemed to hit me fairly often. TKM's have a huge accuracy bonus. Blind is more effective when dueling another fencer, and espeically against swordsman and pikemen.
His knockdown/dizzy approach worked niether time he used it (excpet for the initial slow down), and I believe it is due to my combat equilibrium stacked from part of tka and fencer. That by itself is a good counter to the TKM knockdown. Or master brawler anduselunge2 to knock him down from a farther distance away before he knocks you down. I don't recommend warcry2 since it is being fundamentally changed as of today.
Finally, from what i understand, Imtimidation not only reduces damage taken but also reduces enemy defenses.
It reduces secondary defenses to aprox 1% (It is still possible, just virtually never happens) and it reduces damage. (Intimdate)
Wookies can not compete, im sorry, point blank, wookies (Armorless players period, to be realistic) can not compete in PvP. Armor is a nessecity, especially aginst players like Bh's, Riflemen, Fencer/Tks, and Commandos, I will go further to say, anyone that "Claims" to never wear armor, (Mainly a helmet, body armor isnt "As" Important,due to the fact that the large portion of PvP revolves around the mind pool) and win aginst high power professions, is probaly lying, or fought (fights) players that do not know how to properly use(Or abuse)their profession.
The only time I have, hands down, been destroyed, was when a commando Point-blank cone2'd me for 4k damage. Now, if I had armor on, it would have been aprox 1k damage, thus survivable (Buffed). However a wookie, well, their fury and stuff, so their at a disadvantage. Thus a win/loss situation, and we all know commandos get one shot, atleast pointblank, aginst a fencer.
That said, best bet on taking out Tks, intimidate, Dizzy/posture (A note, Posture change, and KD, are different timers, you "Can" LUNGE1, then IMMEADTLY Kd them, Now there is a smarter thing to do with this tactic, Dizzy+lunge them, if they fall, cool, when they get up (since they shouldnt be down more then, ohh, 7seconds or so) KD them, hopefully they will fall again. Sorta like a double-chance
