TKA should win. their melee defense is high enough to protect them from any damage that we can dish out. Blinding them dosent work, becuase thier accuracy modifier is through the roof. using armor, or more powerful weapons such as the gaderiffi will only result in you incaping yourself from the high HAM costs. our only hope is lunge/dizzy. but TK has a KD that does the same thing, only better.

Whom ever says that we can not give a TKA Master posture change obviously has not faught a TKA Master.

I am 4-4-3-3 and I had a friendly duel against my friend who is.

The first 2 times he owned me; though it was still fairly competitive..I used the Graf. Baton (basically I ended up killing myself)

the last time I used The V.Blade and Curved Sword Dizzy,Intimidate 1, and the lounge 1 and he went down and kept falling down.

I did not use bleed on him as it was a friendly duel..but he also didnt use mind attacks on me either..

We have a small window of success when dealing with a TKA Master..

I think the people who are saying that they have seen a Master Fencer whoop on a Master TKA... were obviously watching a really crappy TKA master, because the TKA master's defenses make them impossible to posture change. That being said, because we cant posture change them, we sure as hell cant out damage them if they land a KD on us.

Of course i did go against who i think are some of the top Melee v Melee TKA's on my server.

I am a Trandoshan: TKM, Master Brawler, and Fencer 0,4,0,0

I duel unarmed and never buff or heal in a fight.

I have rarely(practically never) lose vs a blade master in a duel.This game has gotten so boring that all I do is duel. I have dueled over 500 times (usually against melee). In three months I have dueled at least 40 times against master fencers(some are my friends, others are strangers).

===Me vs Master Swordsman(2h)==

With KD: I win 100% of the time. I end up with 80-85% ham left over

Without KD: I have only lost to a master 2h once, and that was because he had 60% resist composit armour, master doc + spice buffs and healed once in the fight.

==Me vs Master Pikeman==

Even worse than 2H. THe only differance is that I win with 90%+ Ham(only ham I lose is from using specials, and maybe a few paltry hits from the polarm). KD or no KD, its almost the same. Its not even a fight when I duel a pikeman.

==Me vs BladeMaster==

Blade Masters are actually the closest thing to a challange melee wise that I get(discounting other master tkas of course). Just comparing base damage(no vibs, and both of us avoiding specials) I do about 2x the damage. I end up with 55-60% ham when the blademaster incaps. With vibros and both avoiding specials I end up with 75% ham when the blademaster incaps.

With Specials and KD: I win. Period. I have such a high posturechange resist that the KD is a one way thing. I win with 85% ham.

WIth Specials and no KD: I win. I usually end up with 50% ham at this point, depending. It varies though, There have been times I end up with 75% or more ham.

The only forseeable chance I have of losing, is if the fencer wears 60% resist composite, has master doc buffs + spice buffs, and can heal in the duel. That happened to me only once actually and I lost because my KD failed.

==Me vs Master TKA==

I almost always win.I never ever lose against other master tka because of myextra defence from fencer line and from master brawlerbox. The only exceptions happen when they manage to land a KD + dizzy that actually sticks(rare).

Well with that being said I am now more stupid for having listened to it looks like every one you have dueled was either an idiot or link dead by the way you make it sound. also when it comes to fence vs tka its all in who gets there hits first and what hits if a fence gets his dizzy/kd(master brawler) in consider the tka dead with in 5 seconds 10-15 with armor maybie cause im a tka and ive dueled a very good fencer before who knew what he was doing and even with 52% comp armor set on and master doctor soon as he got me down he moped the floor with me.

I would say fencer because like you said they get stun damage, when someone is wearing armor the most damage I can hit for is 20-30 without vk. With vk I can pull 50, maybe 100 but it heals so fast when they got buffs anways. And melee damage mitigation only effects max damage so you could always get a stun batton with high minimum.

As a former Master Fencer / Master Brawler / Master Tera Kasi I can say this about Fencer in pvp... Against all but a TKM a fencer will deal equal to or more damage just as fast as a Tera Kasi. Against Tera Kasi however we suffer due to there high toughness, I have 1 shot guys for 1400 damage using Cho Mok (1 hand hit 3) with a 329 gaffi, and watched as guys in comp got slaughtered using my 211 stun baton.. Granted back in the day these weapons were pretty high end but now with the Geno cave I know guys on my server with 400+ gaffi's and 200+ Stun batons. The only reason fencer lacks in pvp is the fact they do not have a KD move .. if fencer had KD I would definatly be a Master Fencer / Doctor rather than having dropped Fencer/Brawler for Doc/TKM.

Fencer owns TKM wearing armor.

If there is no armor its up to the fencers skills, but most likely the TKM will get him.
