Thread: Dual Wielding..1 or 2 hand?
I don't think dual wielding can effectively be added in the game...HOWEVER, I do believe the ILLUSION of dual wielding can be added in.
Simply make "paired" weapons craftable such as Saber & Dagger. They can not be seperated and when equipped both hands are occupied. Perhaps damage can be slightly increased overall or something.
This is seriously the only way I see Dual Wielding making an appearance in this game. Primarily because it wouldn't be overpowering and would be mainly cosmetic.
I think dual wielding should be implemented. However not for every melee class. Fencers seem to be prime canidates for it. Like was said above 2h is just that useing a weapon with both hands so dual wielding doesnt fit. Same goes for pikeman. I have a hard time imagining a personwielding two reinforced combat sticks. Tk ... maybe not too hard to think of equiping brass nuckles on each hand.. maybe not.
I also thnk that melee should get better weapons. Power Hammer is a good start. Good damage.. decent speed but thinking on it, your swinging a heavy weapon around. Continuing, the weapon certificates should corrispond to the skill level. What i am saying is that if i become a novice fencer i should be using the certified weapon of novice fencer (as in a sword, not a limp-wristed foil or rapier). However you use a stun baton and you might as well kill yourself. Most of you know what im talking about, but for you ranged fighters the Stun baton is equivalent to a CDEF pistol, and its a ellite calss weapon. Aslo the class swordsmans should have a sword for its ellite weapon.. Pikeman have an equivalent of a pike and TK has its brass nuckels.

Im rambiling ...... soo tired..
We, (as in melle) know of this and all keep complaining about these topics. So what do we do. I personally think we should ALL flood the dev forums
