Thread: duel wield?
How is it gonna work? In RL, using two blades comes with LOTS of practice, if I were a dev, i'd put the cert on blademaster, and make an 'extension' of fencer. I wouldnt really call it an elite elite proffession because it would probably on have like 2 skill trees that give you dual wield speed, dodge(although block and counter sound a lot more reasonable...block with one sword, counter with the other), dual CoB, CoB dur, and whatever else. But I think that it should require LOTS of dual exp, like...in the high hundred thousands at novice and on to the millions nearing master...just a thought

They may put limits on the stats of each wielded weapon you know...Like a total of 230 possible maximum damage for both wielded swords and/or pistols or some number like that, and speed at like 3.5 or 2.5 for both, minimum damage at like 110 or 85m but both HAM costs stack, so a stun baton with 50 mind cost and another stun at 50 mind cost would be 100 mind points used for a single special! I know it would look cool, but balance is what the Devs want.
I mean, Balance is thrown out the window when some Duel-wielding Master Fencer/Master Pistoleer with acklay-sliced stun batons or geo-blasters sliced/krayt running around buffed, with 80% composite, is spinning and twirling dealing 2000 damage per second and spamming "I m L337 uber doodz 4thewinz heh PWNZ!!"
I don't want that...but i want a nicely balanced and graphically appealing duel-wield weapon system! those devs must be nuts wanting to fix this stuff all the time lol, must drive them insane...![]()
