I would bet more than anything that we won't ever see dual wielding because they would have to go and remodel every single fencer animation to have a second option, one adding a second weapon.

Now I'm no programerbut I got some serious money that the teams doing that sort of work is knee deep in Space Expansion, and even if they did get on this we probably wouldn't see it in play even on test for well over a year.

So patience, in the meantime maybe the art team can come out of their bantha mount and landspeeder induced coma's to work us up a shield or two.

I'd say that designing shield and the appropriate animations would be as difficult as doing an offhand weapon. It's basically the same thing, you're adding in new animations and artwork for the offhand. Which if they're adding in new flourishes for entertainers, means that they have separate artteams for the expansion and for the live team(which is pretty standard). So I'd say don't assume anything and put it into a report

Very well

I still think that someone needs to tell us how to get a rantok without being an outlaw...

A well written and poignant post,Minerunner. You've addressed all of my main concerns in precise order.

Thanks to the "out of range" nonsense, I'm finding it impossible to bring down ranged PvP combatants to the kneeling or prone position. I haven't once hit a fleeing ranged weapon user, even though I appear to be in reach, and I've duelled quite a bit. I just get kited around and shot to death. It seems that the only way Fencers can do damage is by sneaking up to prone shooters;though we all know how hard that is when you're a blip on someone's radar.

Cheers for that, Minerunner,

Regards.

I actually like the 1 hand edged fighting animations. They are very similair to the tai chi style of sword fighting. Espescially when I do my so mai it is just like my hurricane kick. I would like to know if there s a cap on defense skills as well. I would hate to waste my time mastering two elite combat trees for nothing

B20 - Rantoks are not worth attention

First of all their stats are worse then crafted weapons.

Second : they look err BAD.
