Why not just hold down the cntrl button and click on the COB button and make it your default attack? This is what I do and it allways is running. Unless you move, then it needs to reload. Just my two cents...

You can try and mess with it I think the command is /addAlarm 0(hours)0(minutes)0(seconds). If that doesn't work you could always start the macro right as you add the alarm in the options so it would go off at the same time.

This is a macro I use, possibly with typos:

/center
/pause 40
/addAlarmIn 0 0 Time to renew Center of Being

This doesn't automatically retry to apply CoB of course. To make such a macro, try:
/center
/pause 40
/addAlarmIn 0 0 Renewing CoB in 4 seconds!
/pause 4
/macro CenterOfBeing

and name the macro CenterOfBeing.

i find a looping macro that warns you when it's about to fire works pretty well-

on top of that, i bind it to a key (Control - 'B') for quick re-firing. if i'm running or moving when it tries to fire i just quickly control-b againand go on my way. this of course results in multiple instances of COb, but that's okay. just do a /dump and restart it when you get a break.
