Well, if you are fighting really big stuff don't discount very well crafted armor. You can't special nearly as much but great armor has pretty low HAM and Ubese / Composite can cushion nearly 50% of the damage you take (depending on your servers resources). May want to get the armor sliced for encumbrance of course, effectiveness only seems to change its non-special protections. Also, I have found that monsters hate status effectsA LOT, and a few traps if I am near enough is almost guaranteed to pull aggro. I 'm saying that incase you try dizzy or other status effects, it probably has a similar result. The best way I found to get away from a mob is Lunge 2 gotten by Master Brawler, I would assume Lunge 1 works also. They do pop right back up but believe it or not there seems to be a delay in their next action and they can't follow you immediately, meaning they choose something closer to attack. Problem is getting the other group members to stop using knockdown moves when there is no real purpose. And of course you can't expect to be very effective in a group of any mixed classes, let alone with gun users. We do the least damage currently if we can't spam hit2 with a gaderiffi baton. Also the big things tend to have a lot of armor so get a good stun baton, I have found that my VB doesn't do as much damage as my Curved even with the AP.

It should help us level when they make combat exp equal to at least 10% of the damage you did. As it is,since I do almost no damage compared to the dang CH pets I get almost nothing.

Lot of running away in the middle of the fight on my part as well, but then there tends to be a medic.

the reason i mention a vibro is that you can spam special all day long and wont kill yourself with your own ham costs... the curved is a very nice wep and i used to use mine in dueling and going bexerk... but the am cots were too much otherwise..

another thing is that though the vibroblade is lower dmg it does have armor piecing of light. so between being able to spam specials all day long wich wit oneit2 is very nice, combined wit the spd of a vibro tat can be dmg sliced since its spd is already low once you ave the spd mods in place, and te lowest of all am costs ... think any server carries it at teens on ealth 20's on action and teens on mind you will be good to go for a while.

Once you have footwork 4 (spd tree) can try a adv ganderffi but make sure you watch the ham costs. wort thing we ca do is kil ourselves as melee.
