Almost all melee attacks can be used with all melee weapons. Though I suspect a bleed will have to be done with piercing or slashing weapons (bladed weapons/knucks). The lunge is in practice on TC5 performing a knockdown with a fair chance of success. Weather that will change or not is unknown.
Man, I love the way Lunge sticks! I haven't had the chance to test it in PvP, yet, but I have a feeling if it drops PC's like it drops creatures, we're gonna hear the dreaded "N" word real fast, instead of players trying to find their way around it. ![]()

Does anyone have an idea where the Acid Sword, Massassi Sword, Junti Mace, or Marauder sword certification will be?
I have dabbled in CU a bit and haven't seen them listed in the skill tree but they are available from the frog for fencer.
The only new one I saw certification listed for was the RSF sword.

Every melee profession has this ability. Most elite range professions have a similar KD or posture down effect as well. If it is changed, it will be changed for all. Plus every non jedi combat profesion will have KD recovery which will allow one to recover from this.
Also the lunge attack does have an increased range over the 6m melee range, I believe it worked at 12 m, but of course with lag I may have been closer.
Also, all the melee specials have worked for me with all the available weapons (except bleed, haven't tested everything with that one yet).

I know its not finished but does anyone know what our hardest hitting attack will be, and somehow know the multiplier?

Not sure anyone can pin down the multipliers due to dmg being completely related to the level of what you are attacking, not simply based on the weapon. Thehardest hitting attack I think would be to pick up swordsman and get power attack.

The level damage multiplier system is horrible and is probably the worst thing about the CU. I really hope they address it before it goes live.
