Thread: uber fencer setup
i got fencer for a holo.. but im liking it alot, im currently 2444 in fencer, and 100k from being 3444.
im also a tk master and master brawler. once i finish fencer i plan on keeping it for a few days before moving on to my next holo. i think its a great combination of professions, and nevermidn the fact that i abhor master dabblers.

jake if higher level mobs had more accuracy then that would help you dodge even more as youd get hit more.
In a way, yes. By being "hit" more (IE: the Accuracy made it past the Defense) you get to attempt to Dodge more. You always "Dodge" (use the skill) automatically every hit that makes it past that point. You just aren't always successful. Your Dodge skill is still compared to the attacker's Accuracy. If the Accuracy is higher, you are less successful at Dodging... although you try it more often.
The end result if going up against a mob with higher Accuracy is that:
- You get less pure "Misses."
- You get more "chances" to Dodge.
- The ratio of successful Dodges to failed Dodges decreases.
- Successful Dodges are listed as Dodges.
- Unsuccessful Dodges become "Hits."

Im thinking of Doing
TKM/Blademaster/master brawler/0-0-4-0 HSM
However I am hearing things like the defense you get only applies if you are wielding the weapon you get it from...is this true? If so they just screwed character customization.
Yes that setup takes up almost all my points I believe, like 77 for MB/60 something for both TKM/BM and a good few for HSM 0-0-4-0. However with those skills if they actually work together you become pretty wicked.
Something around 80 defense vs knockdown (if its stacking), 90 something dodge, 70 or so counter attack, 80-90 defense acuity (does this work? makes you dodge/counter/block more) and really big ranged/melee defense bonuses (if they are stacking)
Does this combo work?
