Thread: Master Fencer/Master Doc Ultimate PvP template?

While he's a jerk in pointing it out as usual, Donny is right on. Doc/Fencer in PVP will be very effective. Doc/2H swords in PVE is very effective.


Doc/Riflemen is even better though, and 4300 Doc, 4004 CM, master riflemen is still probably the best I've seen lately. It's all fotm mmorpg stuff, but that's a snapshot of what is dominant today I guess.

Howdy guys I just finish Mastering fencer yesterday and I'm working on learning just how to do this PVP stuff. (I've been a full time doctor until now) I was wondering what is the best combo for taking down TKA's, healings macros that'll help me stay on my feet etc etc. Pretty much anything. So far I've managed to actually win a fight and two duels and am pretty pleased that I no longer die within 10 seconds of fighting. Cheers.

the point was that 4030 would not let you buff, so to get to 4230 would add

that skill....and I believe c level buffs are available at that med use, if experimented

properly.


And FYI, doc crafting isn't that hard to master. Try chef or architect, then go vomit....


Also, any time you say doctor, medic is implied as it must be mastered to become doc.

Actually I just came from being master doc/master fencer and headed towards doc4030/master fencer/ pistoleer 0040


Puts your dodge almost at cap, and gives you just about double your defenses of fencer and the ability to use the geno blaster.with no worries of poison and ability to heal up. I think this is about the closest you can come to it, melee mitigation 3 is yours, ranged mitigation 2 is yours, so have fun doing this one!

I am master fencer, tka 0/0/0/4, and Doc 4/3/4/0 and it is very very good as your melee and ranged defenses are capped. The only draw back is when you buff yourself they are not over 2k.

I was TKM/MD and gave up the TKM for fencer. Not because of the bandwagon but because i need the def's for PVP and TKM dosnt defend well enough.

For PVE TKM/MD works fantasticly well but for PVP you are too vulnerable . Therefore it depends on what you do.

I perfer TKM to fencer tbh because of meditate and KD2 but unfortunatly my guild need their docs to stay alive to do their jobs.

im thinking about going Master brawler/fencer/4-0-0-0 in doc (for cure states) how does that sound for pvp?

I've been doc 4000 for a few weeks now.


In theory, it's a good idea: you can cure yourself of any state (of importance in particular is intimidate imo).


However, against CMs you will still struggle, because you will not be able to cure the nastier poisons (ie what you should be expecting) with one cure. Most likely, it will take you 2 cures, or maybe 3 if they are really bad. Two cures might be ok, but in that time they've chucked a disease on your as well (+2 cures), which has most likely ticked. Repeat the above.


At the moment, 4000 keeps me alive, but does not let me carry on fighting. Its usually a case of run away and cure at the same time. If you are running away, then TKA 4000 might be more worthwhile.


I would recommend trying it out, but be prepared to put the skill points in to get 4040... and then you might as well get 4240 to buff.

The answer the subject yes. With a high damage stun baton there is not a melee competitor on ahazi that can defeat me (master doc/master fencer/novice entertainer)

A master doc/master fencer rocks everyday of the weak as they can completely kick booty, but the problem is a cm/fencer can own him any day of the week. I wont give way why, because its my strategy.. But for complete ownage go master fencer 2/0/x/0 doc and 4/0/0/4 cm.......the x is for as many trees that are left over....I forget. As for curing poisons use janta blood when getting a master doc to craft them and you dont need heal fire IMO since I never get a burn on me.

It is a very good template.. with the CoB running and the baton, the fencer/doc is a dangerous foe to anyone.. He can remove your statuses that u stack on him and at the same time keep slamming u with them.. a well timed burst run will get him in range of that rifle and get u KD'd and blinded fast. A CM/fencer can take em, true.. but that is by the ol stack poision on diff bars routine and going to work with the scatterhit in your CoB. If he is good he will have u intimidated, blinded and dizzied all on the run making your defences jelly with the status. If u are not a doc u will not be able to remove them where as he can. Which lets him keep his defence rolling strong against u.

exactly... a Mas Fencer / Mas CM can't remove any of the status ailments... which even though they can poison / disease you to high hell (which can be cured, expensing both people of mind), they can't heal themselves of intimidation / dizzy / blind.

only problem i see w/ Mas Fencer / Mas Doc is you always have to run after you enemies... this really sucks when you go against lots of kiting riflemen (one of them eventually gets the lucky hit ) ya need to know how to use corners in cities, but when there are nothing but open fields it's a bit hard...
