although i have been with the game from the beginning - i am not a power gamer - so i am not on as much as some - so i run the risk of sounding liek a noob here - but i will ask anyway -
what is the Junta Mace - Is that the Gardafi Baton? or a totally diffrent weapon - I have never heard of it - or maby i have and just didn't realize it.

I don't have the answer to that one right now, as I've just returned from a long break. I would do a search for "Junti Mace" and see what comes up. I'm sure someone's discussed how to acquire this weapon.

Could you write up a PM to me about what testing you helped Raphayl with?
And by the way, I'm glad you've returned.

I'm glad to be back, and to see you have things well in hand.

when will we know the sandbox testers?
Minerunner already said that he decided not to make his picks for the CB Sandbox a public post.

Yeah I believe Range mitigation is gonna go bye-bye. As Ranged will most likely loose Melee mitigation to some degree. And dare I say it...the only one thing that I truely care about, COB, gone?

Chance to dodge without COB: too low.
Chance to dodge with COB: in line with most people's idea of Fencer as a defensive profession.
Right now pretty much everyone uses a looping macro the whole time they are fighting in order to bring their defences up to the level they should be. Might as well take it out and bump the base dodge ability to compensate.

The Junta Mace is a new one handed weapon. As the above post by Minerunner implies it is a reward given for a quest. A previous post by Minerunner alludes to the fact that it is given as a reward for the Bespin Election set of quests. Unfortunately the fact that it is mentioned in the above post also implies that it is not being rewarded as it is intended to be. Don't expect to see this weapon widespread for awhile.

Yer just gonna have to put any knowledge of what "is" right out of your head.
Combat in the new system can't hardly even be spoken of in terms we use now, let alone look or feel like it does now.
This is my nice way of saying, complaining about how it is now is completely and utterly pointless.
