I just hope that if they give fencer an AP weapon they give them two so I dont have to see every fencer running around with the same weapon like we do with people and composite armor.

I find the class very enjoyable, I soloed all the way to to master unarmored on dantooine.. on quenkers mostly..
as master without any stacked mods I can solo all nightsisters up to protectors. On higher level mobs TKM and heavy swords are better though, as your defence won't help much.. so the TKM's unarmed toughness/damage and the heavy sword's damage are supperior there.

Yall are nuts-- fencers rule in PvE!


Use your damn Gaffi Stick, good composite, buffs, and brandy, and you can solo anything short of Krayts and SBDs. I've never even been incapperd outside the Corvette or PvP since making master.

No doubt we can survive most anything, but killing it this month is a different matter. you have to take in BOTH Accounts (offensive/defense) in saying something is 'good'

Im doc/fencer with buffs and ubese I can tank a krayt dragon indefinitely even the giant canyon krayts...havnt tried an ancient yet though. I dont do hardly any dmg but I can tank it while a rifleman buddy fooks em up.

This is true enough, I went to the Geo caves last night, saw a group run by me, fleeing for their lives, being the kind person with feign death that I am, I tried to take the bullet for them, in confined quarters I started using Spin 2 in a bottleneck. I gained the attention of every last mob on their tale (About 10 in total, they would come in to attack me more after I killed one) not only did I survive and kill them all, I could have killed more. The problem was, it took about15 minutes.


After that I was given alot of group invites for people wanting a tank...

Caylin, I am not certian, but I do belive I have left you to die in the depths of the Geo cave, id have to see you ingame (i also play bria) but I know iv let a smuggler/sword/fencer down there to die, because he tried to lure to me and a bud.



Eather way, yes indeed, fencer= great defense, but killing stuff takes weeks

All the other melee professions whoop us in PvE.. but not PvP with our pretty Stun batons.

Chances are it wasn't me,I never lure to other people, unless I'm the designated puller... I amrather all or nothing, I fight to the death where I am, if I am about to die... feign death. That way I don't train others which is what happened in the example above. Group came screaming out of the depths, long line of red behind them, while I was just coming into the dungeon. Had to give them a chance at survival...
