What you are forgetting is the combat medic. Who is unstopable while spaming 600 a tick mind attacks. this guy or girl has whey to much power.One cm spaming stopped 20 of us cold. is this right? you tell me.

That's pathetic. Where was your doc? Why couldn't you guys kill him before 20 of you died? You know, when a cm throws a poison he's glued to the ground for about 5 seconds? You'd think after a few throws you guys could catch up to him, especially with burst run and lunge 1 and 2. Also, with the foods out now I can get my mind up to 3k which means it would take 5 ticks to get my mind down to one. Counting regen I'd say it would take around 7 ticks. That's 70 seconds, more than enough time for 20 people to kill a cm. Then, once he's dead you can just meditate the disease off. Having a doc around would give you more time, also. Any serious pvp group should have one, especially after they come out with area cure poisons.

That really sucks. But it makes sense on some level. How much fun is it when everybody's in the same 39% stun composite and all of the fencers are using acklay batons? And all the CMs stack 6 mind dots on you?


It's like Nascar-style boring. Everything's the same and you run around in a circle for 5 hours. While you could argue that parity across weapons, defenses, etc. brings out the competition of skills rather than advantages, it's boring to me. I feel the professions should be balancedin that every uber move has an equal and opposite counter. Where various professions are needed to survivea battle. Like, you can walk into the geno caves with 2 TKMs and own it. You should need a variety of fighting styles, damage types, etc. It's what RPGs are all about.

why do you say nerf? because you won't be as uber as you want to be? I think it will be a good change, as when the rebalance occurs armor will be redone and so will buffs. So no one will know how it will work out.

Really? I hit for 300-500 with my 328-547 stun baton on stun armored targets.....

hes right.



thats how all combat is on my server, people rarly even use a jawa, when they do they change when a 200dmg hit does 100 or 50.. (49-50% stun, psg)



when i find someone with stun armor, I just dizzy+kd em and leave, its sensless to try to win,



If they balanced resists, making stun vunerable on comp, as well as another more unique (but not acid/energy) armor type a vunerability of comp, and put stun as a base on some other type of armor (padded maybe, that stuff CAN BE in the 70%'s, only one guy makes it on my server TMK, and its expensive, but its CLOSE to comp resist wise) that would balance it out, and require a little thinking in PvP.



Ohh, a fencer, if hes using a gaffi, i use comp, if he uses a stun, i switch to XX armor type.



Its not easy balancing combat, but Electricity and Blast are the rarest types of damages (two professions per, I belive? BH/Pike and Commando(Launcher/grenades) and swordsmen?)



Maybe those two should be looked at, or something, heck I duno, i gave up long ago, but Armor is the problem, NOT weapons.



All those godly ackley batons have filtered out of my server (the ones in use, of course displays exist still) and i gotta say its prety balanced, as far as that goes.

haha my stun baton is 747-1044 in 3.1 made with legendary bones so yea something needs to be done i can take out someone in two hits

actually if you really think about it blast is the most common damage type that anyone can use. C12 Frag Grenades are blast damage and anyone can use them.


Edit: P.S. Grenades only give combat xp.

Yes, blast is common, but in PvP, those nades rarly ever hit (never have worked well for non-commandos for me anyway)


Plus, atleast on bria, their very expensive, very rare (few smiths make) and just not worth it.


I was talking in the standard weapon-range, if you really want to nit-pick im sure it can be aranged, but if your trying to think normally.. well figure it out.
