Thread: Not complaining, just confused...

Not to mention that our main advantage of Speed, is currently moot since all other Master Elites can reduce their delays down to 1 second. Our Lunge/Dizzy combo is now even less useful. And I can still kill myself with my own sword faster then the creature attacking me.

Personally I'd like to see rapier and dagger added. The rapier heralded the whole discipline of 'fencing'.



Your post is an excellent one. Would you consider putting something similar on the Devs forum?(However,I don't know that new weapon ideas is such a pressing issue- especially with the changes on the recent patch.) I'm hoping that Lyahpar would consider the job as well.....

Well I PM Holo, I suggess you all do the same thing. In a nice, non flaming way. Point out the problems about the range being rediculous...because it is. KNuckles reaching farther than a sword lol


I also pointed out that we were ignored as the only class of the 4 melee professions that did not have HAM reduced on specials.


I also posted on the SWG discussion section but since there are mybe 10 of us on each server, it was buried under the whiny posts about droid storage and other crap that needed changes.


All we can do is keep PMing HOLO until he realizes something is seriously wrong. Or maybe once they do another profession census and see that there are chefs than fencers out there.


/sigh


I really wanted to stay a fencer but the more I run out of the skill points, and the more fencers are ignored, the more I think i may drop the class.


I really don't want to though but lately it seems the other brawler classes are becomng more attractive.

I never said that WE should just sit back and never express any of our displeasure about the current status of the Fencer..but I was only speaking about Fencers and not the other melee classes.


Posture Affect was the one thing that kept Fencers competitive across the board. Not how far our swords reach not how fast we are..but the ability to take combat turns away from our enemy.


It was already known that a 2 handed swordsmen is or is about as fast as we are. We already knew that all of the other Melee classes could dish out more damage than we could. Yes, it is a shame that a brawler's VB knuckle range was enhanced and that they have more attack range than a sword...but even if we still had the VK's range it still doesnt change the fact that we can not (at this point) successfully PVP, PVE w/ KD AFFECTS they way they are.


For the record KD AFFECTS include LOUNGE and DIZZY COMBO thus causing a form of KD.


I still think that this is not the end product, that they are just scrapping KD..POSTURE CHANGE what ever you want to call it, to implement another system that will give class specific attributes timers etc for KD AFFECTS.


Also I was just giving you an example of what happened in one situation. We dont have a correspondent, whether you believe it or not that kinda tells you about where their priorities are. As stated above we are few...Even if all of us posted..we simply dont have the number of Fencers we need to make that work. I think the best way to bring about change is that we all PM .
