i'm using a baton thats crafted, it hits 52-121 and speed is at 5.5

Its pretty good, but i'm sure stun baton would own more. I'm gonna try and get that rantok sword, just becuz it can't be crafted, its rewarded, eh. I am using a ryyk blade as well, the stats on that is 23-124 speed is 4.8. I don't know why but somehow i still think baton is better, well gotta go, cuz i'm the first fencer ON BLOODFIN!!! wahoo!

You guys have some great weapons. I do all of my shopping at the bazaar, I'll have to start looking for some weaponsmiths. Can anyone recommend a good one on Bria server?

I bought a sword off the bazaar that does 140-150 dmg and has an attack spd of 2.0. I've hit for as much as 1300 dmg, I usually average 500-600 using 1h hit and mid 200's without any special attack.

Just wait until some melee weaponsmiths can make rantok blades or higher.
I got a base model rantok blade from a mission...45-140dmg, 3.3 speed.

That's probably a good 100-250 damage at 2.4 seconds under a good weaponsmith... wow!!!!!!!

Except its been said before that PC cant craft rantoks. I currently have a sliced 66-169 curved sword with a speed of 2.9, only problem is the HAM, in which the special action cost is 55.

I have the same problem with the curved sword's special HAM cost. I bought a weapon mod today that reduced the HAM cost by 26% and increased my range by 30% though. That helped tremendously... however it's temporary.

I am a apprentice swordsman and about 1/4 the way up to novice fencer. I have a ryyk blade and with slash spin attack I avg around 400 dmg 650 being my highest. There is one problem with a comment that was stated about weaponsmiths making rantok swords. They can't. If you look at the weaponsmith tree, rantok swords are not there. I also have a weaponsmith in which i get most of my gear. She also told me weaponsmiths can't make rantok's, but they can make stun batons. I have no problem with being a fencer except ofcourse the fact that I don't wear armor and suffer alot of dmg. I have helped take down several Rogue Fumbaa's (I may have the name wrong, but it's the one that looks like a giant dinosaur and has a hair over 10k HAM points) on Naboo and accumulated around 1500-1900 xp for each one. yes it's tough but well worth the sword xp and then ofcourse when i harvest around 54-60 bones it's worth the scout xp. Considering you get 505 scout xp just for the harvest. Also if anyone needs to know how to get trap xp fast, it's easy, but that's for another forum. I love my swordsman, I love my ryyk blade, but I do wish i could find a rantok sometime soon. Otherwise I'll have to tough it out until novice fencer and just get a stun baton.

Oh and by the way, my ryyk blade does 24-117 dmg and has a 3.3 speed. Lovely sword it is.

If your looking for sword EXP, you really cant go wrong with NPCS thats are humanoid. Taking a risk after reading about how one hand lunge just owns humanoid NPC's, i tried it out on a Mauler. Onehand Lunge twice, he fell, i spent the rest of the fight beating the crap out of him easily. Easiest 1100 sword xp i ever had. And if your really worried about dieing, get in close and hit up intimidate, as most of them well resort to melee when you get in close.

i use a 38-124 3.5 ryyk blade.. if anyone wants to know who i bought it from its Kammi on lowca server.. shes the only good melee crafter ive found.. its pretty expensive though 15k

i carry a sliced ryyk now 40- 150 3.8 speed( like to see gaffedi baton beat that) and a sliced dagger 21-40 2.9 speed for fast combat. They are slowly than i would like but hey thats what power ups are for. a 10 % increase in speed changes from ryyk to a 3.4 speed. changes the dagger to a 2.6 speed.
