xaiphong thanks for the tip may try to find some high quality maburi this weekend and try it outafter i find an effiecent weapon. My smith says vibroblades are pretty effiecent and have slightlyfaster speed than a sword with about the same damage. Of course he does not have the resources to make the advanced vibro unit yet.Hopefully he will have a better quality one this weekend and i can get it sliced.

Keep pushing Ctrl+Tabuntil you find empty hot key slots, then put every part of your armour suit in each slot.

There you go! no painin buttclicking to wear and unwear armour.

I have to say, The decorative vest is a very nice peice of clothing. In Either Red/black Blue/Black, or Blue/White, it looks mighty fine.

Well, Rosar wears a black infiltration suit with a black multipocket bandolier, black long uniform gloves (not my first choice, but I was too lazy to go to Theed to look for a better selection of handwear) and a black belt... err... I think it's a decorative belt. He wear black reinforced boots (I think so, anyway... they're theones with the pocket on theoutside ofthe right boot.)

The infiltration suit further emphasizes my character's exaggerated height compared to girth, and generallylends him a lithe, finessed appearance, while also seeming to afford Rosar maximum mobility without having to be completely naked. . The pocketed bandolier, belt and boots also seem to indicate that he possesses specialized equipment or gadgetsfor many different situations. The end result is something of a covert-ops look (think Sam Fisher, but with long, black hair and a goatee).

Here is what I wear and if I don't I notice the damage pour in. Personally I think armor is key.

  • Composit Chestplate

  • Composit Bracers (right/left)

  • Ubese Leggings

  • Composit Helmet

  • Mabari boots

Most of the time in PvE, I don't use the helmet. In PvP everyone seems to have an eyeshot or headshot, so its a must to last more than 5 seconds. I don't have problems with my HAM at all with this setup.

Jakkar, tall, lean Trandoshan with dark green scales and bright red eyes, with a real chin (90% of trandoshan players are idiots who make the coolest lookies species like a mon cal by mimising jaw and chin! >_<!).

I wear all my own gear, clotheswise, being a novice tailor. Black Work Pants, Workman's belt, black with a silver clasp, a Black ubese shirt, and a black/silver metal necklace. Oh, and a silver bracelet. Good mix of practical, successful, and **edit** cool. I look evil. Oh, and just wait to see me during a sandstorm on tatooine wearing my cloak, i scare the smaller species constantly as an 8x3 foot fast moving silhoette with a sword.

Otherwise I occasionally wear a simple black wrapped skirt, Which is extremely dojo-like with my weapon of choice, the curved sword.

As for armour, partially for roleplay when out in a difficult situation I wear a black ubese jacket and bracers, but only wear the helmet at most dire need when dueling two-handed swordsmen.

I just bought a Personal Shield Generator Mk.1 for 6k, probably extortionate, but meh... And.. I expected it to be useless, at 7% protection to all forms.. However fighting untrained dark force users, I often see it preventing 80 hp of a 120 melee strike.

Wow lot's of people in this thread have no idea how to use armour effectively.

I wear full composite, 70%+ Kinetic resist layer. I have a further set with a nice 70%+ Stun layer, and a further suit of 73%+ Kinetic resist Ubese.

As a Doctor I am also buffed. I don't care who you are but if a Fencer fights me without armour they will be dead in very short order and I will still be at near full health.

To make the most of armour you need to migrate your stats to get your secondaries up and make use of buffs, food and spices to ensure your specials don't kill you.

If you are PvP'ing in clothes only, you will be dead very quickly ( especially if you don't wear a helm ).

People who decry the use of armour don't really know how to make it work.

Red and black full skirt. White leather trimmed shirt with gray trim. Black gloves. Red lekku wrap. This gives me a clean look, slightly haughty, and a little stiff and formal.

I also like kicking a** in a skirt.

When I look in the little box and it says "Your Composite Armor Chestplate prevented 703 points of damage." I think to myself, it's all worth it.

There is a time when armor is useful. I havea macro setup to switch on my armor and clothing as quickly as possible for different situations. I wear a set of ubese armor that is white and black, I do not wear the helmet however. For clothing, I have some bio-engineered stuff. White paddes shirt, with some black camo pants. Very simple, neutral colors.
