This may have been obvious to everyone but for the past several days I thought I was suffering from permemanant stat loss when all along it was the stat cost of my armour. With a full suit of bone armour i had a strength penalty of -200, constitution -150 and someother big one.

Minerunner recently posted - "And don't skimp on your clothing. You are a master of finesse and motion, wear something appropriate and Individualized to your personality. Flashy or subdued, don't look like you just got off the transport... no need. =)" . So I guess he, along with others already had this figured out. Is there any type of suggested armour for fencers?

White sleeve black vest (with armor or without) plus a brandolier, and large white gloves. It will give you a Count of Monte Cristo look, deadly assailant.

Currently I'm a female zabrak expert one handed brawler wearing a black leather skirt, black top, black necklace, black brandolier, black gloves.... It looks like some Matrix samurai gone awry and ended up in the SW universe. Anyone seen Equilibrium (the movie)? Like those sparring clothes.

My Ensamble is..

Decorative Vest in Black and Grey (Will switch to Red and Black as colors when a master taIlor arrives), With Black Linksteel Reinforced Gloves (Will be going to tipless gloves with my skintone for fingertips), Metal Band around the left wrist, and Golden Bracelt around the Right.

Grey with Black Thin Stripped pants, (will be going to a Black Pleated Skirt.)

And Black Boots.

Yes I'm Zabrak, yes I'm male. Yes I look **edit** good.

Oh I will be accenting my clothing with some pieces of armor, worn for very heavy combat only.

Those pieces will be, Chitin Left Bicep, Tantel Left Wrist, Composite Right Bicep composit Right Wrist, Tantel Gloves. Composite Boots when I wear these I will switch my top piece from Decorative vest (which occupy's a jacket slot thus won't allow armor on arms.) to a Belted Vest in Black with Red Belt.

The bottom line is chose your armor carefully and chose when to use it even more carefully.

Oh And have lots of fun dressing well.

I might just keep my starting pants and shirt. Nothing wrong with looking like a new guy then tearing people up.

Or maybe I just can't find any cool clothes...

I hate armor with a passion. The stuff badly reduced my stats and it was just a breast plate. The fact is that it may have been badly made but i still fill like laughing ever time i see a person dressed in full bone.I want to duel them so badlybut idont have my counter for range kiting yet so i have to wait. But their day is coming. So far thebest stuff i've have found hasbeen off corpses. i have nice sun hat and a nice loong shirt that looks like it some sort of battle suit or something. Only problem is i cant find away to get this stench out.

Actually.. bone armor gloves have saved me dozens of times. It actually says "bone armor gloves reduced x damage!". Unf unf. That's probably the only armor I'll ever wear.

Im wearing my starter zabrak/brawler shirt...a cool white mesh shirt that looks slightly rugged and dirty, with cool chainmail looking sleeves. A left bicep bone armor piece, bone gloves, bone boots, and my normal pants.

People tend to say I look like I fell out of a Final Fantasy game with my brown skin, orange eyes and blue tattoo.

I DID have a mabari shirt on, just for the hell of it, but im dumping that.

LOLabout the comment: "Fresh Off the Transport" (FOT). I'm one step away from mastery of 1-handed weaponry and I still look FOT. Guess tailors are just too hard to find out here on Bria. It's a shame that equipment/clothing/items don't really wear out or degrade. That would probably be my incentive to start dressing better. Then again, I wouldn't mind walking around with that ragged/torn look... sorta mad-max-ish.

I'm glad to see some people who really think about their appearance and expression of personal style.

For those wearing skirts - do they really look samurai-ish? If that's the case, I suppose I would consider cross-dressing for the effect.

Do i get this right then... As a fencer you are better off without armor than with armor?

I would last longer in the midst of battling a group of swamprat npc's`?

I know people are talking about shirts and black boots. But would a fencer choose no armor before wearing?

Olease let me know.. Im dying to get out of my sherlock hat...

Hey guys, I just wanted to comment about the armor situation. I currently wear a full set of Mabari Armor minus the Helmet, and let me tell you I notice a difference for sure. I tried Bone Armor at first then quickly sold it after not really noticing it helping me. Later someone told me that Bone Armor was good for Range Fighters and that Mabari was good for melee types, so I tried it. I went from getting hit for 60-80 or so with just clothes on, to about 30-60 max with my armor on. That was tested on the same mob, same skill levels and everything. I just seem to overall last alot longer wearing my Mabari armor. Kinda cool looking too hehe, looks kinda like futuristic Samurai gear.. though I dont really care for the colors, but ah well. Looks even cooler when I wear my Sunguard Also, the stat loss on Mabari is less than it is for Bone Armor, but if its really pissing you off when your trying to regen just take it off while you rest, then slap it back on when your ready to fight again. Personally I keep it on all the time.

PS: With a full set minus the Helmet (Gawd the Helmet doesnt match at all!!) my special moves are only costing approximately 2 more points. I dont think thats bad at all.
