I do tons of damage with it in PvP it works amazingly, and honestly id sacrifice that little bit of random damage for the ability to actually have a viable decent sword i can fight with and not a lame rusty pipe
and oops my ryk is 50-307 3.4 damage, wen i said that I did it by memory, regardless I can still tear peole up in PvP and I actually get to use a sword, and if it pleases me, beyond all your math and algebra, that is what counts.

Once you hit the speedcap, it doesnt matter, no one swings faster then every second.

I have three (exceptional) rancor teeth being made into ryyks right now that should be similar. They add 123 max dmg I believe. I agree though, I'd much rather use a ryyk. I love the look of it.

LOL if your lucky.... ran down last night with a group and killed literally every damned creature in that cave (though they respawned behind us but we let them be) one guy got some bones as the Ack was there waiting for us... we sat around and waited for it to respawn and after it got killed that time he didn't drop anything *sigh* that's happene to me abougut 50% of the time i kill the acklay, no drop.... bah humbug i say!!!!

Oeme you are actually incorrect, at master fencer that ryyk would hit the speed cap with anyattack every time

The high spread between min and max damage would make it a worthless weapon in PvP against a melee opponent due to damage mitigation.
