and the game system doesn't really allow dual wielding like the correspondent has said =)
Beside i think that would ruin the Star Wars feeling (even though janga DW's) and make this like any other fantasy game out there.
Sorry just a bit sick that everyone wants to be like Drizzt/Legolas =P

well i had an idea for a profession that had the pre-req of master brawler only (could be use with the other brawler proffesions though)
basicly, it goes off the idea of how they never really do anything with berserk. I mean, after someone makes novice w/e it is they are going into... they really dont use it anymore. so. why not have a class that will make it useable. like make it so if give you skills that u can use while berserk. a tree for each melee weapon type.
and the name... Beserker.
oh well... just an idea... and...

This might be a bit off the star wars topic but how about a scot brawler that specializes in hunting with knives.... like Fremen, if you've ever read Dune.

I like the idea of a melee hybrid ,, i dotn have any ideas on one though .
but i do disagre with this statement you made "ANy idiot off the street can learn to use a gun" that doesnt mean there good at it though it takes just as much practice to get very skilled wiht a fire arm as it does to get that skilled in martial arts .
"any idiot off the street can throw a punch. " but it doesnt make the a martial artist

whoa whoa buddy
It takes alot more training and conditioning of the body and mind to learn a martial art then it takes to pick up some stupid gun
I mean face it guns are stupid and they are the worst weapon ever invented

How about a melee Bounty Hunter? Master Scout and Master Brawler. Not all BHs used guns you know, I think it could be an awesome profession.

try picking up a 20kg rifle and hit a coin from a kilometer away, that ain't something you learn ina few years mate
It takes much less skill to be moderately effective with a gun, anyone with basic motor functions can point a gun approximately in the right direction, but when you're talking ranges of 15m, it already takes some practice. When you increase ranges further, you need more and more training and skill to pull it off consistently. The absolute pinnacle of gunfighting takes years and years of perfection.
martial arts takes longer to learn the basics of true, but being a skilled sniper or pistol shooter isn't something any idiot off the street can do either
